I'm not a fan of non-pixel art portraits for this game, but I gotta admit dcburger has a really attractive art style.
The DCBurger style is my one true weakness 😂

I rly like the slightly edited mod, bc it changes Elliot's portrait into it's og design
For the harvest moon like portraits look up the Nyapu's Portraits inspired by Dong, wich was inspired by the last mod you´ve shown, its really cute and has the plus side of having extra downloads for SDVE and RSV, plus some other extra mods

I've been using and loving the seasonal version of Slightly Edited Portraits for the past few months. It's called Seasonal Characters Slightly Cuter Aesthetic, and it's those same portraits and sprites with great seasonal and festival outfits. (I do substitute Shane the Fashion Enthusiast into it though, cause I just love him and his outfits.) It's a go to pack for me, because of how much life the seasonal clothes bring to the characters.
I've found that character portrait packs live and die by their Sam for me (because I've married Sam in every playthrough except my Shane save), and I'm really fussy about him. There's a fair number of packs on your list that I have and adore... including the Harvest Moon style one, which is Nyapu's Portraits inspired by Dong. And I found a couple great new ones through this video that I just downloaded like Leyalluna's and the Bunnerz update to the anime mod.
Other packs not from the list that I really enjoy are StardewValley Anime Mods by OhoDavi, Zino's Vanilla Bachelor Portraits, Nayrie's Portrait Mod, SolaLuuka's HD Character Portraits, and Jier's HD Vanilla Portraits.
that;s the only protrait mod i use too! it's very in touch with cancon and cuter

talkohlooeys + Slightly Edited are my two favorites. They are comprehensive and stylized nicely to give character. The rest are pretty meh and most of the others only do a few characters. :) Thanks so much for the video, it helped a lot.

- "Seasonal Outfits - Slightly Cuter Aesthetic" is the improved version of "Slightly Edited" and includes sprites and seasonal variations. It's the perfect one for people who want the "basic game" feeling.
And...
- "1oxnes and talkohlooeys' Seasonal Portraits" is the improved version of talko, which includes seasonal variations and uses the cute sprites above. This is the one to pick for expressive characters.
Now all I have to do is choose between these last 2. I decided to use talko's but the other one is great too.

mods can be downloaded anytime, so yes, even if you already started your save file you are able to install any mod (granted that you are downloading the correct version.)

Huh, ConcernedApe did a great job, all those mods looks terrible for me, but that's cool that modding is available for SV, so anyone can find smth special.
That’s fair, no one is saying he didn’t do a great job - I mean a game made by one person is extraordinary on its own! If you don’t like the mods that’s fine, enjoy your game how you like playing it!
