this is why utilities are often paid separately - otherwise, a lot of people won't care at all how much eg. water they are using and the landlord will be stuck with a huge bill - if you are paying - like you said - you are more prone to realize where you are wasting utilities and take responsibility for that.

Renting out is slightly cheaper though
OMG, you are so smart & beautiful. As a Pole living here whole my life, all I can say is that cost of living is now higher than ever before. Thanks to our government policy :/ It's not bad compared to other countries but also it is not good.
