Got this for my wife for Christmas for a 17' ES 350. She opened it, saw the jumble of wires, and her eyes got huge. I said relax, not my first remote start install and everything is on CZcams these days. Great job, I'll be doing this tomorrow and diving in knowing more or less what I'm in for. Awesome video I used to own a 2014 IS250 but now I have a 2019 ES350. My 2019 ES350 came with the remote start and mine does the same thing when you open the door the car shuts off. Anyway you got my support I clicked on the red sub button.

I have a 2014 IS 350. I heard you said you did it it on a 2014. How much difference is there?
if i remember correctly the only difference was the 2014 was tighter to work with meaning less space for your hands to get behind the column
Hopefully it is similar for my wife's 2013 Honda CRV, it seems to be but I'm about to go try it now. I wish the manufacturer would have videos as well as the instructions online, would be a big help
How'd it go? My 2015 kia - debating on getting this kit for it.
It wasn't too bad, the instructions that come with it I think aren't all that great but I basically just T'ed in the connections and hooked up the ground and then it was just trying to find where to mount things and tucking the wires. Overall it was pretty easy, I did not install the hood sensor or the lights since the vehicle I installed it on has auto lights anyway and I don't care if it can start with the hood open.
@@BeaverDunker hmm interesting.. I've installed a car radio before but that's all I've done.. debating this bc the places I've looked into going to to get a starter installed want $400. Hmm
@@brianchorsaway2778 I'd just order it and give it a shot. They claim to have customer service that you can call for any technical questions. You could give it a shot and if you can't get it you aren't cutting any wires or anything so just plug back in the 2 plugs and then return it. Might as well give it a shot to save $200
Will this work on the 14is350 f? I think you mentioned you did one on a 14 but just wanted make sure
I did it on a 2014 IS250, it should be the same install but id just check out the website to make sure

Im not 100% if this exact brand does, id check the website. Im sure there is other brands that offer it though
