- Hey everybody, and welcome. My name is Roy and in today’s episode I’m gonna share five tips and tricks I use every time I sublimate!

I use room temperature water for my finished mugs. If you don't, ink will keep spreading You'll notice it most with text
That’s actually not accurate. Most if not all of the mugs I make are just text, and as long as I wrap the paper tight and let it sit for 5 minutes after removing, I don’t get any bleed/ghosting. But to your point, if I try and remove the paper before the mug cools down, I will absolutely get ghosting! I just prefer to not risk the chance of getting hairline internal cracks. Based on how my workflow is, I’m fine with the 5 minute delay! Thanks for watching!
