    This is a great video Roy! Thank you for sharing. I believe the key is definitely waiting for the pieces to cool before stripping paper off.

    Another amazing video with great tips and tricks. People ask me about tumbler taping and I always refer them to your videos since there is no need for me to duplicate your tips. I use all your recommendations and things come out amazing. 🙇🏻‍♂️.

    I'm just now getting into the mugs, and koozies. My first try...yep ghosting big time on the koozies. My second try, I cut a piece of foam board and stuck it inside the koozie, making it flat..ter. Well, bingo it worked great. And yes I taped it to paper that was larger than the image so it would not shift, and used light pressure. Wish I had a something to video it and could show how I did it. Don't have a clue as to how I'd do that. I have watched you Roy, on all of your video's and it has helped me tremendously.

    I've been having this issue with black line designs on mugs. I'll try to let it cool down before removing the paper. The ghosting has been driving me crazy.

    Thanks for the tips. I’m new to sublimating tumblers and sometimes the top and bottom have spots that are lighter than they should be. Any tips to fix that would be appreciated.

    Have you used this tumbler press for mugs ? If so, any luck on getting better edges closer to the handle than the HPN press?

    • @industrialfringe953
      @industrialfringe953  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I haven’t used this for mugs yet. As soon as I got this, I added the mug press back to the Heat Press Nation press and I’ve been using the HPN press exclusively for mugs, and the Eenour for tumblers! I should probably try, but since I’m having such good luck with the setup as is, I’m hesitant (insert “lazy”) to change anything! Thanks for watching!

    Could you use an adhesive spray?

    • @industrialfringe953
      @industrialfringe953  Před 4 měsíci +1

      You absolutely could! The trick is to a) make sure the paper doesn’t shift (adhesive would work for that), and b) to make sure the koozie doesn’t move or shift. I might use the adhesive for the paper and maybe a little tape to hold the koozie down.

    At what point does the sublimation process stop? I’ve heard it all but I wanna know your knowledge about it if you know anything good sir🙏

    • @industrialfringe953
      @industrialfringe953  Před 4 měsíci +1

      The default temperature for sublimation to start or stop is roughly 350 degrees. I’m certain you’d get some gassing below 350, but most dyes (inks) activate at around 350. I’d say the optimal temperature for sublimating most substrates would be between 350 and 400 degrees. Thanks for watching!
