Dave, August in Pennsylvania is NOT primetime Yard Sale Time. August is kind of slow. April-June is best. July is decent. Fall is decent. But there is definitely a slow down in August. Just sayin'.... @Susquehannapicker should agree with that.
Here in central it’s weather dependent, my main sourcing is May through September. August is great most times here because people are selling for back to school cash, replenish vacation money spent. It’s like Baseball for me it’s a grind for 5 months then winter months you can really reap the true benefits from the hard work all summer!
Ill agree with that as well...Arpil-June= Really good, July-August= Slowdown due to the heat, Sep-Oct=Really good again Nov-March= Let's hope there is a church sale indoors!

I guess in August when I'm making my list of where I want to go the next day, I can almost go to every place I write down because there might only be 5-6 decent yard sales total to choose from. In June I have to narrow the list down from 20 to 5. Can I find good things in August? Yep.

Dave is correct in that the cell tower companies will pay property owners to build towers on their property and pay them rent as well. I know this because I worked for a commercial realtor and their business model was to buy properties with cell towers and sell the property without the easement or tower parcel included in the sale.

Kevin, I live in bfe as well.. Been here 8 yrs with no access to internet other than cell phone internet wifi. Now I've been on t-mobile home internet $50 flat.. Now I've finally showed up to the 21st century lol. So possibly look into the $50 t-mobile
I run T-Mobile on my phone and tether it to my computers. They won’t sell it to me at my address for home internet yet. But soon

i have been on eBay since 1997. I had a comic and card store then, and sold lots of those for the next 10 years. I began buying at garage sales and flea markets in 1981, sold at shows and then in 1984 opened the store. 42 years later, i still go to garage and estate sales and flea markets to buy thing to sell online.

In certain parts of Florida the Summer is awful for Yard Sales. Most of the big community wide sales are in the Fall and Spring especially in areas that have lots of residents who go north during the summer.

the owner of the vintage mall I have a booth in was in the movie Beanie Mania the streams of Prime Video, He made a fortune selling beanie babies on ebay and other places. The movie talks about the hysteria of beanie babies and how ebay basically got it's big start with beanie babies. I was a subscriber to ebay magazine back in the day. Cool to see it.
