- The Osprey Trail is Kielder's only blue grade trail, aimed at riders with only basic off road skills. It's also a journey through a beautiful and remote corner of Northumberland. If you're new to mountain biking, getting back in the saddle, or just want a relaxed ride, far away from the rest of the world, this could be the trail for you.

I love this trail so much and i have from a young age, its just amazing and its the perfect difficulty for a blue. Even though ive moved on to riding red grade trails i will still come back to this even when im older, Anyway im so excited to watch this video
I think it's a great trail. Ideal if you want to get out by yourself, when you don't have a mate to peel you off the ground when things go wrong. ;)
Glad to see you back on the bike and making vids again mate made my day 👍🏻
Thanks, Bradley. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully more to come. Heading to Black Mountain and Bike Park Wales in September, so lots to look forward to.
Great video and advice 👍
Thanks Adam. I'm pleased you enjoyed it.
Nice one mate. Looks like a nice wee trail.
Good too see you back again. Keep em coming.
Ride Safe. 🤙🏴
Cheers, man. Next one's already in the making.
Nice video with level of information mate👍🏼
Thanks. Not the most exciting trail as a spectator, but a nice ride.
Hill 361 is killer. It’s a surprising blue but I love it. Great ride.
Think I've probably ridden it about a dozen times now. It's just nice to be out in the middle of nowhere.
He’s backkkkkkkk !!!
Admittedly, it's been a while. I'm like a vlog ninja, just lurking in the shadows. ;)
I rode this trail the other week. I was going to film one of the red trails, but hadn't emptied the sd card of footage and soon filled the card up! So I decided to ride the blue trail instead. I found it quite hard, that last long climb almost finished me off 😜 Nice singletrack, but as you say, far too much forestry road
I know what you mean. The climbs are physically demanding, but that's pretty much par for the course. Definitely too much fire road though. I was supposed to ride Deadwater again yesterday, but had a bit of car trouble. It'll be the next trail that I ride at Kielder, that's for sure.
Gonna give this a blast on Saturday... Getting the wife into mtb
It's a nice ride, Jonno. I'd probably tell her about the climbs after she gets in the car though. ;)
@@MeantforDescent hahaha will do. Be good to get back on some trails :)
I know what you mean. Hope you enjoy it. Mostly dry on Saturday too.
@@MeantforDescent we will have to meet up for a sesh around some trails some time mate
@@jonnoedge167 I'm not very quick, mind.
Good to see you back mate. Done this one and the Lakeside Way a few times now with friends and the kids. What would you recommend next after this one?
Cheers Scott. How confident are you on the trails?
@@MeantforDescent I enjoy fast downhill and winding sections along with small jumps, other than that I'm not sure.
You could try the descents at Hamsterley. Polty's Last Blast, K-Line, Transmission, Accelerator and Nitrous, then Section 13, Special K and Brain Freeze. Take it easy the first time round and you'll be fine. I've got vids here...
