Aww, cute animals. Chalk and pastels intimidate me. It is good that you are good with them.
I love your cover page; great idea putting in both states. The pastels look super soft and lovely! The Tombow fudenosuke pen has also saved me as it is one of the few that works in my current sketchbook and doesn’t bleed. Have a fabulous trip! ❤
Yes! Thank you!
OMG you look gorgeous-radiant & relaxed, Will have to add these pastels to the growing list of things I should stay away from. It would be amusing to try them and take a picture of what I'd look like afterwards.
Thanks, Beth! 😊 ❤️ Yeah, these are pretty soft - they probably will get everywhere. Lol.
Hey Miranda! Enjoy you trip! ❤
Thanks, Xoonani!
How lovely to be in your caravan playing with art stuff! Just great! 👌
It's great fun!
nice video, enjoy your trip :)
Thanks! 😃
That was quite a road-trip, Miranda - you, Duffy, a truck and a caravan for roughly 15 hours! Do you have music, podcasts, etc on to keep you alert and for company? Very glad that the weather was kind, you arrived safely and had help with the setting up.🤗
I listen to audio books the entire trip. I love books. ❤️
Jack is so fluffy!!🥰i like soft oil pastels, but they can def be too soft to use lol
I just love that little guy. ♥️
Have a great trip! I’m curious about that etchr cotton sketchbook. Hope to see that again with watercolor! I love how you made do with nail polish remover😁 I like those pastels very much… very easy to blend & layer, vibrant colors, etc.
Did you review them as well? I can add your link in the description box, too. I'm very behind on watching videos. 👀
@@MirandaWatsonArt no I haven’t reviewed them yet & I may or may not. I like them, though! Super creamy. Thanks for asking🥰
I'm sure you've seen Becca's video. Don't know if you watch her videos but she slays everyone (that deserves it) and you got praise! I feel like this is youtube gold and as an observer I'm wowed. Also, love it. You deserve the praise.
I did try watching the premiere last night and had really bad service so it was a bit lagging, but I was able to see most of it and chat with people in the comments. It was great feedback and I was glad she liked it!
@@MirandaWatsonArt tortillons are your friend with soft oil pastels - you can use them to get the fine details you are looking for - you can even “scoop” some of the pastel up and apply it that way. I prefer to use watercolor paper for oil pastel work as the tooth and thickness allow for texture and scrapping - keep playing!!
@@wendyg3869 yes! I just didn't have any with me, sadly.
Good Morning Miranda! We're covered in snow here! I've been super curious about that brand's Watercolor tube set! Lets see what you make today!
Good morning!
Those oil pastels are so cute. Happy holiday Miranda 😊
Thank you! You too!
Nail polish remover for a natural nails is actually acetone. I don't know what's in it for artificial nails lol.
Okay 👍
