And by 'antisemitism' Benjamin Netanyahu means 'acknowledging that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.'
And he announced it with his serious voice as if to say “listen to me before it’s too late.” The man is a monster.

1. Under Starmer, Labour has repeatedly made socialist aligned pledges and then u-turned. Call me a cynic but I think they’ve made this pledge for votes and will walk back on it as soon as they win. As if the party that is openly talking about privatising the NHS is going to prioritise nationalising railways.
2. They won’t get my vote unless they do a complete 180 on Israel’s war on Palestine. Declare them an apartheid and terrorist state, stop arms sales and fully back Palestinian liberation.
Same.. and even then I would not believe it if Starmer was still leader of the opposition.
Yes, that's also my position. Very well put.
Very well put and count me in.
100% agreement from me. Thanks for articulating it so clearly.
I've long learnt never to believe anything good, progressive, leftist, radical or sensible that the Labour party have to say.
It's always bullshit.
Ive always voted SNP and was all for the referendum.
Hazma was one of the first to call out Israel. His in-laws/wives family members were over in Gaza when the bombardment began so I know he has a really understanding on what's goin on over there.
Imo the Scottish Greens are the better option.
Hamza Yusuf was racist toward the whole white population of Scotland and his hate crime law bill was trash he doesn't give a dam about trans people that hate law is there so you cannot criticize Islam
@@NANA-kf1csall I can say is: be careful what you wish for. I'm from Germany and the Greens have been a disaster ever since they got into power.
@@NANA-kf1cs The Scottish Greens are never going to be in power though.

How can we trust anything Labour says on policy to renationalise railways. They have rowed back on everything else they have ever promised. Bunch of liars. Would love to believe them but Starmer is a total liability.
Agreed. Every “pledge” he has pronounced has been completely rowed back on. Why would this be any different?
The train chat was brilliant. Makes me realise how little mainstream news actually ever tell me. Great stuff ( depressing ) but super informative. Thank you.
Thanks! There's more of it about if you know where to look...

Let's be clear Natenyahu is not the president of the United States. He can not tell us how to be democratic.
All evidence to the contrary
Tail is wagging the dog
AIPAC may well beg to differ.
United States of Aipac
he is the usa has lost its way . democracy all lost
Tadhg is back! Awesome!
So good to see Tadgh again! And l love Kay's cold, unsmiling tonelessness.
More than happy to just hear Moya's take on what Netanyahu spews than actually hear from that genocidal maniac directly. Hearing his voice - and his propaganda at this point is downright painful.
Agreed. His barefaced gaslighting makes my cortisol levels go through the roof.
Failure to kowtow to Netanyahu and his vision of Israel will soon be a primary example of antisemitism.
The deputy mayor of Jerusalem said in an interview, after women were shot in a church, that there were no churches in Gaza. Ask her about what's happening to the Armenians in Jerusalem, right now.
Great to see to have disabled activists on Novara. More of this please thank you
the rail service in the uk is a total joke i was back there a couple of years ago visiting relatives and couldnt believe the cost of the trains here in melbourne victoria we can travel anywhere in the state for $10 dollars return anywhere in the city or to the country towns and the state of victoria is quite a bit bigger than whole of the uk i feel sorry for all the travelling public in the uk you are being ripped off big time
Last week I had to go into my office, ~80 miles away. Left the office at 5:30pm. If the trains had run on time I would have gotten home by 7:45pm. I got home at 9:30pm.
The lack of railway capacity means any issues quickly becomes a major problem.
Keep bringing back Tadhg!
“The ratio of combatants to innocents killed is unprecedented in modern warfare” “15,000 combatants” : 30,000 Palestinians overall (minimum). She’s right that it’s unprecedented
@26:40 yes, good call, would be great to see UK & Eire students rising up for their consciences.. USA student movements have made a massive effect on govt policies.. 👏
Solidarity with USA students standing up for what is right..
Any Scots, person, knows , the tory and Labour , in Scotland are English parties operating in Scotland, like the msm and especially the bbc in Scotland, they are 100 percent , not Scottish, novara , have let me down today, Big Time
There is a glaring difference in the extent of the coverage comparing the example of Bucha in Ukraine when there were endless reports, interviews and analysis including specifically targeted satellites being used to show areas of possible mass graves. Why aren't they doing that over Gaza ?
Mainly because there is absolutely zero press coming out of Gaza they have been systematically removed from operating in Israel at all.
@@roseannemain9957 Even Satellites ?
Just declare independence already.
The Empire is long gone.
What are we doing.
There is NO scottish labour or scottish tories they are branch offices for westminster
Yes, and Holyrood is correctly the Scottish Executive arm of Westminster. Everything in Holyrood only happens because of Westminster. We need a "Scottish Parliament" and a government that answers to the Sovereign People of Scotland, not a parliament in a foreign colonial regime.
We have a Scottish Parliament and a fully elected Scottish Government - what you are suggesting is independence. Both the original comment and your reply are correct and all three comments are saying the same things. We need Scottish parties to vote for in our own independent Scottish Government
In regards to the British Railways disaster, will this country ever get to the point of having a Britain-Ticket for £50 a month, British Isles wide, similar to Germany's Deutschland Ticket costing €49 a month, travel wherever, in any type of train????
Only if it is brought in as a policy.
Stop your genocide Netanyahu.
It's so great to have my 2 favourite social commentators, Novara and Tadh Hickey, together. Moya and Tadh are an absolute dream team. Thankyou
Tax-payers and fare-payers are the same people. Whatever the Government divvy up, WE PAY.
Though nationalised services tend to cost an average of a third of privatised services from the figures I've read over the years.
Great to see @GarethDennisTV on Novara Media. He's an excellent source for all things rail, from detailed rail systems knowledge to overarching rail policy understanding.
thank you for covering the disability report
Gerry hassan , has absolutely nothing to say for Scotland , apart from Labour bullshite
I'll still vote for the SNP because the alternative is a representative for the British state and I'm neither a paedophile nor a war mongerer.
very well said
Yep I would do the same if I lived in Scotland, SNP are miles better than the status quo we have in Westminster
@@chrisc2412 Thanks friend. I want a better representation for everybody, UK wide.
The Scottish tories have vociferously rejected any Green policies since the bute house agreement in the Scottish Parliament so for Douglas Ross to call a vote of no confidence in Humza Yousef is laughable, and the way the media is narrating this is all so predictable !
I won't be lending the SNP my vote this coming UK GE.
I will vote Scottish Green.
The SNP aren't even trying, more interested in themselves.
Gareth Dennis is a legend. Bring him back more!
THANKS.
Gerry Hassan = Unionist
Isn't Gareth good!!
Scottish Rail had been in public ownership since April 2022. Works well. Shouldn't England's nationalized rail be called English Rail?
Where did you find , this absolute tool , against Scotland
Bless the youth! The ruling class is not ready for them.
I should have clarified at the time... That's £1bn *in profit* that went to the ROSCOs, lost completely from the industry. Their revenue is much higher than that.
What a terrific programme
More Tadhg please. Thank you.
thanks for keeping me informed on world news
Gareth Dennis is captivating! Great guest on a great topic. President Xi please belt and road the United Kingdom god we need it

I understand why they’ve dropped the greens. They are crippling Scotland 🏴
I wonder how old Jake Sullivan was when he first understood he would be willing to defend mass graves? Some one should ask him.
Anti Scotland, anti wales
Novara , should be supportive , of Scotland! Against the Westminster , shxt show , but no , this disgusting , Novara ,spin , is akin to bbc , in Scotland, and the right wing media
I misunderstood rolling stock, so thanks for clearing that up.
So, the actual rails are nationalised. The rail companies are private companies that hire staff to work on the trains, these companies rent trains and carriages from another private company, and use an entirely different private company to perform maintenance on the rolling stock. And all three types of those companies will be financially required to earn a profit.
Gee, i wonder why our fares are so high.
Great reporting NM
Humza’s choice was side with progressives or appease the SNP right. He chose wrong.
In your humble opinion. Humza is willing to jeapoardise his own position. The greens have 12 list msps. Bring on a Holyrood election and use it as a plebiscite election
National government is trying to force a mayor on Cornwall if they want a devolution deal but most people engaged in Cornish politics say that model wouldn't work for them and instead want devolution but without the mayor and the national government refuses to approve that.
Power to the people, people have the power, not labour
My last choice of government would be from westminister if I could help it
I've said it before, the SNP are a victim of their own partial success.
When you're pushing for a significant governmental change and you have been the govt for a long time, it's catch 22.
When everything is going well, people will ask why they need independence, when everything is going badly they'll ask why they should trust the SNP to deliver successful independence.
I understand it's hard for a political group, and I'm nobody with no special expertise in this, but their stance should be: elect us and we do an independence referendum, if it fails, we'll resign from leading the govt and push for reelection next time, while pushing for independence in the meantime.
The cold is hitting hard for me to.
tories stil have high votes, whos voting them?
Thank you
good shit Novara
I'm never comfortable putting too much faith in one person, the anarchist in me thinks no one person should have power, but every time Mick lynch talks i just think "if this guy started a new left party, I'd vote instantly"

thank you Moya for pronouncing Alba correctly (as much as i detest Salmon using the Gàidhlig name for our country for his party, it is refreshing to hear an english person get Gàidhlig pronunciation correct)
Does the promise not to touch the rolling stock train companies include a promise not to build up fleets within the nationalised regional train companies?
Netinyaho is telling me not to believe my lieing eyes .
Kate Forbes? NO! Religious bigot. If Yousaf falls, I could see someone like Tom Arthur being his replacement. Not keen on him myself, but someone of that sort.

And they were with their right to do. Not sure they will like it now though might end up loosing no confidence vote.
@@lenabo9929believe me, this is a strategic move there is a method in this ,hamstring unionist parties and refocus on independence.

Common values with Netanyahu?
All bad hasbaristas know Tadgh is pronounced Tah-duh-huh-guh.
Labour should employ Gareth as a consultant.
They did for a while...! I fear I've been greylisted at this point, having been dragging them on eg. their rampant transphobia
Humza fucked up wi the greens, if he waited it was likely they would have left of their own volition since he had to keep back peddeling on green energy policy (the oil industry is massive here and sadly you cant close it overnight). Then he could have painted them as 'irresponsible' and the usual bs and been in a much stronger place with his own msps (im not saying thats good in general just good for him). As it is tho now the left of his party hate him for ending the deal, the right already wanted his head and the only other pro-independance party has gone and joined the unionists to stab him. Hes up shit creek without a paddel and he doesnt have the clout to get out of it.
Will be interested to see how this goes for the Westminster election. Labour are still unpopular in Scotland since they openly side with the tories and are seen as a branch office to the UK party. The tories wont win anymore than the 6 seats they have (and theyll likely loose some of them) and now the snp seem determined to loose as much ground as possible. The lib dems also exist i guess. Interesting shit all around.
If the Greens left the Tories would have used that to have a vote of no confidence. Humza just can't win no matter what he does. He is my MSP and I will be voting for him. I know all the SNP representatives in my area and they are definately in the left wing of the SNP.
46:14 I wouldnt be surprised if people in England don't know what devolution is but in all the other UK nations people are very familiar with the term; big part of our national politics for 25 years.
😂😂😂
This is going to be interesting. The greens have got the knives out for the Yousaf.
Doubtful.
@@nikmak They seemed pretty pissed off when interviewed. If they were to backtrack on their anger they would lose credibility.
@@MixedUpSignals They'd lose more credibility forming any sort of pact with a British party.
@@nikmak Yes, I agree. I was surprised when the Greens threw their hats in with the SNP. Just like the Liberal Democrats jumping in bed with the Tories. They have never regained credibility in my mind. It appears to take the most meagre sniff of a hint of power for people to sell their souls even at the expense of credibility.
Humza is an actual racist. i grew up through the 80's seen skinheads punks all sorts of stuff. The only actual racism i've was between an sometimes inter- faith based communities. and im not talking about the football bigots.
