The name "Abia" was derived in 1991 from the initials: Aba, Bende, Isuikwuato, and Afikpo. As at then Afikpo was part of Abia State, although Afikpo later became part of Ebonyi State in 1996. This last part was omitted in the video.

Question 1: Whats the difference between Bende and isiukwuato?
----> Bende is one of the 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Abia State. It is situated in the northern part of Abia State.
----> Isuikwuato is also one of the 17 LGAs in Abia State. It is located in the central part of Abia State.
For question 2, if i correctly understand you. Umuahia is the Capital of Abia State and it was never abbreviated in the video.
Umuahia was part of old Bende province. Isuikwuato was part of okigwe province
