@@bennett138 EP was my go to album during my "cocaine phase". They've become one of those bands, that if you tell me you like/know them, I will instantly know that your value in music is the same as mine
Way underrated band. This album was fucking heat. Lucked into this band when this released. I had never heard of them before and bought the album based on the album cover which wasn't anything crazy. It was one of those impulse buys, which is how i discovered tons of good bands before the internet days, that gave me this under appreciated gem of metal supremacy.
Whenever I wanna hear that old school metalcore sound, this is one of my top go-to bands for that. This band is just another reason why Nevada metal has always ruled. timeless material
@@latigredeluxedeluxe1637 you can ask that question to… • Guttural Secrete • Mortician • Molotov Solution • Dissidence • Misericordiam • A House Cursed • Decomposing Serenity • Disfiguring the Goddess • Cerebral Incubation • Weight of the Tide • Impurity of Mriya • Vinnytsia Fatalities • Implements of Hell • Cordyceps • Victims of the Cave i’m sure they’ll all tell you that it is most definitely “a thing”.👻
@@beornwodening2146 Well considering Cerebral and Guttural Secrete have been on multiple European tours yeah id say so. Also i had some friends who i stayed with in Sweden who listened to Misericordiam while we were going out to parties because they loved them and listened to them since high school and finally you'd have to be absolutely kidding me if you're acting like Mortician, Molotov Solution or Disfiguring the Goddess are some sort of obscure unknown bands that no one has heard of. What rock do you live under
First time I heard this song I had Headbanger's Ball on but it was muted when this video came on. Saw the Vision of Disorder shirt and unmuted. Glad I did. This song slays.
It's a real shame these guys didn't go further than they did.. Way ahead of their time. Big influence on my riffs and lyrics. Icenine, vertigo and quiet cold are my other favorite songs from the lament configuration. Rip December.
Wow, thanks! It's amazing to me that anything the band wrote inspired or influenced anybody. Thanks again to you and everyone else that commented on this video. Fun times for sure. Stay Metal!
The singer and drummer are currently playing in a band called Weight of the Tide. It's crushing. czcams.com/video/QLWbEYoDdxA/video.html&ab_channel=theundergroover
The Fall Silent shirt on the drummer! Fuck yess. I remember seeing these guys at Fat Cats in Springfield Mass one Sunday. They were great live, I just remember loving this guys low vocals. Definitely has a Barney (napalm) style
Funny story. Devin Townsend took Mark to go do his vocals without the rest of us. The first time we heard the vocals Asa and I asked them to turn off the saturation on the vocals (that's literally all that it is). They both looked at us and said that it was printed and they couldn't remove it. Honestly, Asa and I were a little pissed but after giving it some time we both came to love it. Believe it or not, it actually captured how he sounded live. Also, I believe aside from maybe one or two punches here and there ALL of Marks vocals are first or second takes. Mark had some pipes on him for sure.
@@RenoPeachWhere is Mark today? This song is so legendary, dude. I have never stopped listening. It stands alone. Like a dream. Familiar and yet absolutely unique. Let me know, man. 👍🏻
great band that got overlooked
Very true.
Yessir
Saw it on MTV2 before it went to shit. Blew my mind. The album crushed it. Good job guys.
Listen to this every six months or so. One of my favorite albums.
This, Burnt by the Sun and Today is the Day got played a lot in my car back in the day!
ALL totally underrated bands
Burnt by the sun is still one of the best heavy bands. Soundtrack and the EP are fucking killer

I got into them when unseen them on Uranuim , on Fusetv ... totally underrated band !
Mark Moots does all my tattoo work, and he’s a great dude. Long live December 🤘🏻
Damn I've been looking for this video forever.

Embodyment/ living sacrifice vibes
Classic..will always love this band and this song..addicting
Saw them in the Beirkeller in Manchester in 2003. Great band.
Criminally underrated.
This song really caught my attention when I first heard it. Surprised they did not get bigger
I think i heard these guys on xm radio on the metal channel. I remember loving it. And here i am today haha
Just remembered this band out of the blue today. Bought the album when it released. These guys fucking kick ass! Wish they were still making music.
These dudes killed this song live. I remember it being better than the recording
Still listening 2021
UNDERRATED

I wish they still played.

Man, we loved Fall Silent. I'm surprised we all didn't wear Fall Silent shirts for the video! Great guys, great band.
What the fuck ever happened to these guys? They had so much potential back in the day ... any idea where I can find this album for download ?
Love your pod reviews. Don't care for your taste in music.
One of the most underrated bands from a pretty questionable era of Earache
This song still fucks.
I swear there was a different video for this song in a snowy winter setting. I must be misremembering?
There was
Just the one video. It was hard enough to get us to do this one. haha
Obviously they were into Deftones.
I always felt a little guilty about chorus riff. I swear I didn't steal it on purpose... but, yeah, Deftones vibes for sure.
@@RenoPeach totally fine by me. the album rippppssss!
Now you have to find the Cheap Trick riffs I accidentally stole!
Thanks! Good to know that people dig what we did back in the day.
