Fighting on all fronts in every competition in our transition season, he's worked miracles again, with a squad depleted with injuries and the academy players called upon. End of the day they may be running out of steam, but, in those vital games that would have kept us in all competitions, many easy chances were spurned. Not much klopp can do about that.

IMO signs were there from the cup game with Utd, but the lads gave everything. Difficult to say for sure, but saying 2 games regularly weekly, throw in a third with what we've mentioned is too much. Not forgetting players coming back are not up to full match fitness with Klopps intensity football. It's the right time for Salah to go, last I heard 200 was on the table, even if it's 100, take it, we need fresh blood now. Atalanta was a freak result that's the way to look at it, we're used to Liverpool not losing. However it showed, when the intensity drops, we're vulnerable (remember the engine room, milner, hendo, gini, that protected the defence) and again they weren't world class players, and we destroyed top teams with them! Atalantas attackers technically better finishers than ours. Salahs world class in everything else, but not a natural finisher, that was only evident in season one when he arrived. Jotas the closest we got.

Out of the FA Cup, out of the UEL. PL title still up for grabs but it's in City's hands. Don't see them dropping a single point after crashing out against Real. I still have belief but the mentality monsters Klopp & us saw in this group of players is completely gone. Don't blame me for living in the past. I'd rather have our 18/19 team back. All 10 outfield players pressed and fought like their lives depended on it. Last season, we were having an identity crisis. This season, we are again losing ours at the most crucial part. A shame honestly. The players need to be reminded that they should play for the badge. Not sure who's playing for the paycheck but that's for Klopp to figure out. Dressing room's gone. I had thought our dressing room's pretty good with little ego but maybe not. Initially never wanted Mbappé anywhere near our team due to how disheveled he would make our dressing room with his enormous ego, but I think he's the kind of player we need. Someone with both the ego and ability for great things. Not like he'd want to join us anyways. We aren't even European royalty nowadays.

Unfortunately Jürgen Klopp has to face the media after all these disastrous recent results. There’s no doubt that as the manager, he has to take part of the blame, but seriously it’s the vast majority of the players that are NOT performing. These guys are multi millionaires, EARNING MORE MONEY PER WEEK THAN MANY PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD EARN IN A LIFETIME OF EMPLOYMENT!
They should be ashamed of themselves and apologise to their fans for their actions on the pitch.

    We were awful.
Too many long balls played and Atalanta dealt with it easily.
The team is mirroring Klopp who looks shot!
Klopp has been awesome but it's clear it is the right time for him to go. He's got nothing left.
Hopefully the new man will galvanise what is a team packed with quality.
They need a new way of playing and one that doesn't cause so many injuries.
Fulham will be tough on Sunday.

Klopp, aside from 2019 which was perhaps the worst final I have seen against one of the weakest teams to make it to a final, always bottle Europe. Repeatedly losing to Madrid will be his everlasting European legacy, and against other Spanish teams too, do people just forget the 2016 Europa League Final happened?

    • @shazanali692

There are some decent Liverpool fans,(for example the one's who tried to save people's lives at the Hillsborough disaster) , but there are some they could do without. The ones who sing about the MUFC Munich air crash, ball boys who put two fingers up to Lionel Messi after Liverpool had come back from 0-3 down against Barcelona, ones who boo the National Anthem at a cup final, and the ones who caused a crush at Leppings Lane so that the less experienced policeman in charge opened a gate directly behind an already full central pen, which lead to a lot of the deaths as fans weren't directed to the less full side pens.
