I'm impressed with this kit. The 1:43 is a very neat scale.
Wow! This is impressive for a 43rd scale model kit dating back more than 40 years! Would make a great slump buster for sure.
👍🏻👍🏻
I've recently built the 1/25 69 Torino Cobra, but never heard of these little 1/43 kits! I need to look for them. 😎👍
Nice little kits. 😊
Enjoy the build 😀
Yep, '69 Torino. Had an annual 1/25 scale one at that time. Never finished it, don't remember what happened to it. The box had the yellow Nascar artwork on it.
Very cool 😎.
Another great kit .
Very cool opening , nice 👍.
Mike
I've got that kit and several others ! Looking forward to building them.
There is a site called bonbon scale models it's all small scale models that He builds. Groovy !
Nice find! Very cool
I have the 1/43 scale AMC AMX and yes, they're very cool. Look forward to seeing the torino done! Happy modeling!
Cool little kits some have cool. It up to the builder to give it the depth of contrast on the pan. Have a fun time as that is what counts.
Cool kit Matt!!! I remember this series of kits from Matchbox from the early eighties.
Neat little model kit. That looks to be a 1969 Torino, you can tell a 69 from a 68 by the number of trim pieces on the "C" pillar. Nice detail for such a tiny model. 👍👍👍
cool little kit. Its going to be a cool looking build. Thanks for sharing matt.
Cool little kit
Very cool Matthew, I like the small scale kits for a slump breaker. Sometimes I leave them in the mold color. I have a 32 Chevy in a lime green from Life Like Hobbies 1/32 scale.
Cool kit 👍🏿
That is a cool kit.😊
I remember these, but boxed before Matchbox. Seems there was a custom Corvette too. I have a memory of the tires being difficult to get on the wheels.
Hey Matthew, try pad printing those Torino letters and the white letters on tires? Would put you in the world of envy!! LOL. You can do it!
👍🏻👍🏻
Nice kit Mathew 👌 👍
That's awesome Matthew! I've never seen that one. Would be a fun build! One of my favorite Ford's! I'd love to have a fastback to go with my 1968 2 door hardtop Fairlane!
That's a really cool kit
Very nice looking little model. With some fine detail painting, it should build into a neat little model. Thanks for sharing.
I didn't expect it to be so nicely detailed.
@@modelcarvideos5829 No doubt.
Ahh, you got me😄, I thought it was going to be a large scale model based on the thumbnail.
😁
Really cool.
They also made a 48 Ford Coupe in this series as well!
1/43 scale , i bought 12 of them from Walmart ,, Canada about 20 years ago , i think i got 3 left to build , they are cool !
Nice!
I was going to guess 1969. I have A 69 Camaro and Chevelle that I built years ago, but mine had chrome parts in the kit. I still have them!
That's a really cool kit and Craig at the mutt modeler built it one year and I have several of the amt 1/43 scale model they had several in the range and thanks for sharing Mat ❤
Cool little kit Matthew. I don't remember ever seeing those. Lots of details for such a small curbside kit. 👍
I love the fact that it's molded in grey. Great panel lines as well.
For sure!
The video thumb nail certainly got me. :D I was sure this had to be a 1/16th scale, but I've never heard of a 1/16th scale Torino.
😁
It's so cute! :)
Nice 😅
The detail is better than 1:25th! I think its really neat how big the Rolls Royce kit was to this little guy. Yet the detail is almost as good. Thanks for sharing Matt. That is a really neat little kit.
👍🏻👍🏻
That's a cool 69 torino GT! Can we release 1981 prices again lol 😆
For real!!
The AMT early kit and the later reboxing of the AMT/ERTL show it as a 1969. You could partly cover that tire burn by putting a deck spoiler on that and also fabricate a hood scoop to make it look like a GT/Cobra Jet.
If you want to see real detail in 1/43, look into Tameo kits. Expensive, and worth it!
👍🏻👍🏻
I just checked Scalemates and there's like a dozen cars in this series plus several trucks and trailers. They even had a set with two complete Peterbilt 359's in it; one a tow truck. I know this might sound funny but I just don't have the room for them but maybe a couple...
Cool
Cool little kit. I built one of them way back in 1969 (I think). There was a series of those little 43 scale kits. I built a few of them. I think there was a 40 Ford coupe in the series too. It has been a while. Scale mates might have info them.
Very cool!
I had the 69 chevelle it was molded in brown, but it disappeared years ago. I found that one at a drug store
the car would look good with a 1/144 scale kit
I never even knew they made model cars in that scale. Extremely well detailed for its size. What color do you think you'll go with? Peace and love.
Not sure yet. I should have it painted in a day or so and have a video
Ginormous
I had the 69 RS/SS Camaro
Cool!
'76 or '77 GT?
But is it a GRAND TOURINO like what Clint Eastowood built
👍🏻
I was way off. '69
I believe that is a 69
How neat, your thumb nail is so deceiving. 😮
😁
