As a large family of 10, we have stayed here the last few years when we visit Orlando (we drive from Michigan) and are booked to stay this spring break again! The prices are amazing for the space you get and our kids love the pirate ship pool area!
That's a far but I bet a worthy drive. Enjoy your time in Florida
we stayed there 3 times ,2015/2017 and 2018 friendly staff great apartments we stayed in virgin holiday apartments had a great time ,saw many changes to the area ,great time we had ,the shopping outlet on site was a great bonus too plus walmart ,publix was within walking distance .put this holiday destination on your short list ,

Have you stayed at the Lake Buena Vista Resort and if you, what was your experience?
Its a good resort within distance of many of Disney Parks. The game room was disappointing. I got robbed close to $15 out of spending $100 on the games. Many were broken and vandalized.
The pool was awesome. Hotel was very good for the price. We wanted to stay there this December again but not within our budget. It was nice that it was close to Nipa Hut Filipino restaurant, Aldies, and discount stores. I wish I could have stayed there again but maybe next year.
I totally agree that the rooms were a bit disappointing and need quite a lot of updates but the pool, just as you mentioned, was awesome. Enjoy your December trip.
Thanks for your review. On a scale from one to 10, with 10 being a definitely yes, would you stay there again? What’s the price range to rent? Did you feel safe? Was the staff friendly and helpful?
I would definitely stay there again, however, I did not have much interaction with staff so I can't speak much on that.
Is breakfast good
I made my own breakfast during our stay so I cannot attest to that.
Is the pool heated?
I don't think it is, although I cannot say for sure as we did not visit when it was cold.
