Anytime I travel I look for a Drury hotel. They are amazing, the pricing is great, beds are comfortable, the free food is really great. Every adult guest gets a free cocktail card for two or three free drinks per day. The food bar at night is not bad, you can definitely get by on it, the breakfast is awesome. Their service is always first rate. IMO, there is no downside to staying here

Yes! We’ve stayed here when passing through Orlando on our way to the gulf. Had dinner at Disney springs. Breakfast at the drury. Rooms are big and new and clean. Staff is lovely. They even have fireworks view rooms. Great hotel if you have a night or 2 before or after your Disney vacation and you want to pay less but get a lot. And they even have an annual pass holder discount.

TRIP REPORT from 7/18/19/20. I had to laugh when I saw this post because I had just gotten back from a short stay there. One important thing I don't think you mentioned is there is NO resort fee. This is highly unusual especially in the Orlando area.
We stayed at the Drury for 2 nights to take my grandson on a mini trip to the MK. We booked a 2 queen suite since we were a group of 5. The rooms were spacious and well designed. There was a living room with pull out couch that included a wet bar, microwave, beverage cooler and TV. Next to that was a large bathroom with a wonderful no door shower. You could fit a family in the shower. Next to the bathroom was another sink. The bedroom was large with two queen size beds. Throughout he window you could see the MK in the distance.
We checked in and then took a 5 minute drive to Disney Springs for dinner. We returned in time to take advantage of the Kickback. My husband and daughter each got an adult beverage for free. The next morning we ate at the 2nd floor free buffet. There was a lot of variety and the eggs were especially good. Everyone was satisfied and we all agreed we would have paid for this quality of a breakfast. We came back around two o'clock to rest. My daughter and grandson went swimming and liked the pool area. The next morning we all enjoyed breakfast and then headed home.
I want to state that I love staying on property and have stayed in all levels of hotels. In the 30 plus years we have been coming to WDW this is only the 2nd time we stayed off property. We are staying at the Drury again in December. We have a car so we didn't use the hotel shuttle. Will I stay on property again? Most likely yes. But for now we will continue to stay at the Drury as long as the price differential stays. This is a must try if saving money is important to you.

Yacht club resort v. Drury. Drury rooms are clean and get cleaned yacht club no cleaning towels etc. drury well staffed front desk , no waiting in or out , yacht club two maybe three and didn’t know what time the parks opened Maybe busses don’t run as much but they’re on time. Yacht club as much as an hour late. Friendly staff at drury defensive at yacht club. You can have breakfast at drury and still get to park for early entry, not at the yacht club or any Disney hotel or resort? And you are at Disney Springs for dinner at end of day. Three drinks per person every day ain’t bad either. Drury 👍

Selected this hotel for our April 2024 meeting. Ticked all the boxes for our group, but I went to check it out - twice. Great hotel, phenomenal staff, and good location. I had never stayed at a Drury before, but they seem to be doing things very well. The remodel of this hotel was extensive with a substantial new build from the original property. Good review here. AJ, where on Disney property are you finding all you care to enjoy breakfast or dinner buffets for $10-$15? That was a strange thing to say at the end, as I think you would need a time machine to find that pricing at Disney.

I was so excited when I saw you made this video but also kind of scared to watch it 😆 We just booked a stay at the Drury last week, and it will be our first Disney trip not staying at a Disney resort. One thing I will say is their customer service seems to be great from what I’ve experienced so far. I had to call and extend the checkout date on our original reservation and was on hold less than 5 mins and had the issue resolved in like 2 mins after that! So much faster than when we had to make changes to a Disney resort reservation in the past!

We just stayed here and loved it!! Dining area on 2nd floor can be busy, but there are plenty of tables and multiple buffet lines. Food is good…nothing to write home about, but definitely can save you some money! My only 2 complaints: the water pressure in the shower was awful…took us 2x as long to shower as usual and for the size of the hotel, they need an additional laundry room. We were lucky and were able to grab a dryer to dry our bathing suits towels before we left, but I saw lots of frustration people carting laundry back and forth because they never could get an open washer.

I stayed there in May 2023. Their shuttle service for ECV or scooters suck! The drivers did not know how to secure the scooters. The lift on one shuttle bus was always broken. He had to use a screwdriver to lift it out the floor. The shuttle lets you off so far from the park entrance. The drivers are trained properly. A few nights I called Mears to pick me up and it was a lot easier. My main reason to come to Orlando is to go to Disney World. My blood pressure went up because everyday I was stressing about the transportation to get to the parks. The hotel reimbursed me for two of the days I had to use Mears to get to and from the park. I rather pay the extra money to make sure I have a stress free way to the park. I gave Drury a try but the heartache is not worth it. I will be going back to stay at a Disney resort.

You said you can find the same breakfast at Disney World for $10-$15. Show me a breakfast buffet at Disney World for $10. I’ll wait.
Constantly saying that the Value resorts are the equivalent is also 100% incorrect. The equivalent moderate is $500-$600 per night without a free breakfast or afternoon drinks or snacks.
You seem to have gone into this review determined to hate it.

Cause they’re greedy and have lost their damn minds. Walt Disney himself would be pissed. It’s not what he wanted. He made parks for the working class and middle class. Not for the rich.

I was hoping you can mention when and if there are Gluten free (sensitive) options. I love the videos but for me they would be more helpful if commented GF or can be GF options. Thank you for all you do.

We're staying here when we go next week and I'm so happy we picked this hotel 😊.
