We stayed there spring break and loved it! Didn’t have to pay for breakfast or dinner the whole week. Got 3 complimentary alcoholic drinks per night per adult. Buses to parks was no problem. We have always stayed in a Disney hotel so I was skeptical but boy was I surprised. We did have a fireworks view. Downtown Disney was beautiful at night. Hands down drury is a game changer for Disney. We will stay there again next trip.
It’s An amazing hotel ! I stayed there about 2 weeks ago and easily one of the best hotels I have stayed at maybe even the best.
Can anyone tell me how easy and far it is to walk to disney springs
@@karengeorge9039 we took the hotel shuttle and drove one day. It is prob a good 15-20 minute walk
@@karengeorge9039 like 10 minutes max
Did the shuttles get you there in plenty of time for rope drop? We usually stay at Disney hotels but thought we’d give this a try since Disney hotel prices have gotten crazy imo, but I’m worried about the shuttles getting us to the park early enough for rope drop, especially at MK. Thanks for any help!
I LOVE staying at Drury Inns because the beds have always been comfy, the rooms comfortably spacious, and the breakfasts and Evening Kickbacks (snacks that can technically be qualified as a meal) really help make the cost of the stay regardless of which Drury Inn you stay at worth it by saving you the cost of at least one meal per day per your stay.💙
We stayed there in March and had the best experience!! I would 100% stay there again. The money saved there allowed us to play more on our trip!
Wow!!! The value of a stay there is phenomenal!!! Indeed tourists should give The Drury a serious consideration. Thanks Tim for the fabulous tip and thanks to the Drury for hosting the tour.
I've said it once but I'll keep saying it, I'm so excited about the new hotel/resort tours. They really helped me in my planning in the past
I remodel the Drury hotels. Family owned.
We were remodeling the Orlando Universal location while they were remodeling the Disney one.
Those amenities are standard across all the hotels.
The wifi is always fast as well. We are currently remodeling another Denver location.
Enjoy your videos.
It's based in St. Louis so I love to support them when I can. They truly are great hotels!
I stayed at the one in Albuquerque and it was amazing! Easily my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
My very first trip ever was to Disney world in 1976 when there was only the Magic Kingdom. I stayed where the Drury Hotel is now and I believe it was called the Royal Plaza. It was an 8 day package...it included round trip airfare on Eastern Airlines, the hotel, a meal package, 3 days admission to the Magic Kingdom, and also Cypress Gardens and the Space Center. Total cost of the package $333. Which seemed like a fortune when you are 19 and just started working.
The Drury was a Travelodge. The Royal Plaza was across the street, presumably where the Doubletree is now.
I went to a Drury Inn once and loved it! If I ever go to WDW again I'll stay here. As you noted the price difference between rooms isn't a big as with other hotels. I think it was an extra $5 a night for us to have a huge upgraded room.
Please do more of these off property/disney partner hotels!!
Second that..
I think you should start touring the handicap accessible rooms as well.
As someone who uses a wheelchair it would be nice to see the layout of the rooms to see how accommodating the layouts are.
I would also be interested. Unfortunately I think Tim doesn't get to pick which rooms are available to tour.
@@TinksiehTink I think if he expressed his audiences interest in them the hotel would be fine with it. He would be as far as I know the only person showcasing these kinds of rooms.
I am in a wheelchair too and was thinking the same thing.
Tim, please do a disney spring's resorts tour playlist, and review all of the Springs area resorts! That would be a great series!
You're amazing!!
I stayed at the Drury Riverwalk in San Antonio a few years ago. It was really worth the money with the meals included. The hotel was clean and everyone was very nice.
Stayed here a few years ago when it was still Best Western but construction had already started on the new tower. Real excited to give it a try now that the changeover is complete and they have stuff included food in the morning and evening.
Having lived in Missouri for almost a decade. I have stayed in several Drurys and the amenities are so amazing, the rooms are comfortable and it is great to see Disney World getting some of the Midwest hospitality that I love. The whole time I watched the video, I was waiting for the kickback because that is the best part of the hotel. I have definitely used that time as a dinner because you really can fill up.
In our house we always call Oatmeal Old People in honour of Jackson.
How is this possible? The value for a family is incredible
this hotel has a lot of great free perks and for the price it's so worth it!
Stayed in this hotel as a child around 1980. Years later, I could remember it being a Travelodge, and my mom always insisted it was an official Disney hotel. Took me years to figure out where and what it was. I happened to stumble across a brochure on eBay and worked it out from there. I was pretty young, so I have very little memory of the place as it was then, and it’s probably the one place my parents didn’t take any photos of on that trip.
Thank you for this! You made Disney more “affordable” again ❤❤
I didn’t even know this existed!
Stayed at the Drury in January and loved it so much we have two more trips booked! A great value for being so close to the parks. Mousesavers has a coupon code for 15% off and $15/night parking.
Thanks for the discount tip!
where can i find the code?
Hi , where can I find the Mousesavers code
We just got home a week ago! We stayed at the Drury 10 days and absolutely loved it , great accommodations and the friendly staff. We’ll definitely be returning ❤
Did you go to Disney during your stay? I'm a drury member and wondering how it is if you do Disney while staying.
Yes we went to Epcot and Disney Springs..was great bus service from hotel & very convenient .
No, No, at only 30 seconds in you had me; the magic words "NO RESORT FEE"! Parking fee I expected.
I stayed here in February and had a really good experience. The rooms are really nice, and they have complimentary things throughout the day, like a few hours of free food (like nachos, meatballs, hot dogs, etc.) and popcorn, sodas, and alcoholic drinks in the evening. The only thing I struggled with was the transportation to the parks because the times were not great, and the drivers did some… wild driving. The reservation system for the bus was also pointless because it would never email you your reservation, and you had to do it at least 2 hours in advance. The busses also varied from being a Drury bus, to random buses with Drury on a piece of paper, to completely unmarked vans. But if you have a car, it’s a great option! I also had to reserve my transportation via mears at the hotel across the street because it wasn’t an option for the shuttle yet, but I’m sure that will change if it hasn’t already.
We stayed for a few nights in the beginning of March. Employees were fantastic, rooms were beautiful, pool was great! There are so many perks! Ive stayed with Drury before so I knew they are quality hotels! Food and drinks, everything you could want AND Disney park transportation! Just fantastic!
This is awesome to know about! I'm planning a Disney trip right now and wasn't sure where I wanted to stay. There's a lot of great options, but this seems like an amazing option to stay on a budget and get amazing amenities and also have it be a Disney partner hotel. I'm glad they invited you out to show it off!
Absolutely love the Drury hotel chain! We usually stay with them when we drive from CA to FL with our boys. Some locations are smaller, but reasonable prices, free breakfast and dinner and pet fees are very low compared to Hilton and Marriot. Parking is free at many of their locations. We found that they charge for parking in the bigger cities (e.g. New Orleans, San Antonio). Just wish they had more locations.
We used to stay here when it was the Best Western - Lake Buena Vista. It was our favourite hotel to stay at when visiting Disney! When we heard that it closed to become another hotel we were iffy but WOW! How impressive! The amenities are definitely a selling point for us! We will for sure visit soon. 😍
This resort is so impressive!! Told my sister in florida, she just booked a room, she loves all the extras!!
Just stayed there for a week. Was a great stay. From the breakfast to KickBack we really enjoyed our stay. Our room prices were far better than what Tim was talking about.
this is so awesome I was just looking into this hotel. I’m so glad you’re doing a tour of it. This is gonna be great.!!
Very thorough resort tour as always, Tim. This sounds like excellent value and a good alternative especially now when everything is costing more.
I love this Hotel. I have stayed several times, when it was still a Best Western. I loved that you can walk to Disney Springs. You can watch the fireworks from the outdoor stairwell. Its great!
We’re staying here this June. Will be my husband and daughters first time. I was nervous about staying in a non Disney resort but this video put aside all my fears! Thanks Tim and Jenn!! Appreciate y’all!!
How much is it per night?
We’re paying about 1800 for Saturday to Friday. We’re doing a suite since there will be 5 staying in the room
Thank you so much, that's a great price! Have a great time.
Nothing better than watching Tim while waiting in line at Magic Kingdom! 🏰💫
Always like Drury Inn in general. Evening Kickback is basically a meal in itself.
We stayed at a Drury in Houston and loved it. Glad to see this is now an option. We’ll definitely be staying here on our next trip.
We live in Missouri, the home of Drury. We always stay at a Drury if it's available. They are all reliably good quality and they all meet that certain standard of cleanliness, and all the extras are fantastic. Drury is a gem.
Timmy, you sold me at 00:20 when you said no resort fee.
Yep, I still really appreciate Tim’s wayfinding descriptions. They really help with these tour videos. He’s one of the best at it.
Definitely agree!
We’ve been staying at Drury Inns for years. They are very family friendly, clean, and affordable.
We stayed here at the end of February. Very clean, very nice employees, and wonderful pool area. You really can’t beat the free breakfast and kickback dinner with 3 free adult beverages, soda and popcorn. I wouldn’t say it’s the highest quality of food but if you want a budget friendly hotel, you will be very happy staying here. We walked to Disney Springs. Our total for a 3 night king room was $683.98 and that was with parking and tax.
This was the best tour, really enjoyed this tour. Definitely going to book a room as the prices are very reasonable & the amenities are amazing. Thank you Tim, the best video. Hi Jen, Jackson and Oliver ❤
Stayed there just shy two weeks ago. Beautiful hotel and I already miss it. Such an amazing hotel for the price. Loved the view
Drury are some of our favorite properties to stay at. They are always clean, have friendly service and offer amazing amenities!
😊Wow you can't beat the price and the rooms looks cozy which is really nice. Plus the food looks delicious. Kudos on the video Tim.
🎉😮We stayed here in June 23 and it did not disappoint. Out of 50 different hotels we’ve stayed at this was my favorite. I found some nights in July for 120$ a night
Came across your old Christmas Eve live video from 5 years ago.
You all said you would probably never go on a Disney cruise
You all would love to go to aulani but it’s to expensive
And someone in the live chat asked you alls favorite disney resort and you said I don’t know we’ve never stayed at any
It’s crazy how much has changed in 5 years!!
Love you guys!
I love when he reviews hotels. Please tim do alot more around Orlando and Kissimmee. ❤
Great tour Tim, that is one beautiful hotel..Drury is amazing for its prices, not to mention the free items, food, drinks, and more.If I were to travel in that area, I would not doubt choose it..
We tried to stay over spring break but it was booked so we stayed at the Universal one. It was fantastic! The amenities are unbelievable. The rooms were big and clean and nice. That one doesn’t charge for parking. It took about 7 minutes to get to Disney Springs from there. I can’t wait to try the closer one. Staff was so nice! Loved it so much we stayed at another Drury in North Carolina on our way home. Can’t beat the price.
Thanks for the tour. I stayed here on my first single trip with my son the summer of Hurricane Charlie. Many years ago. Really good location if your on your own (or not) short walk to Disney springs this was perfect for my sun and I. The only downside was the pool raccoon who ate anything in his site 😂
It was so lovely to meet you in the lobby, I so appreciate how kind you were in real life to take a quick break to say hi! Great review on the Drury! We had an awesome stay. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, great food and drinks, comfortable beds! For an off property stay it’s absolutely going to be our go-to!
Do you remember how much it was per night?
@@robinwalton7872 sorry it took me some time to look back and do the math! We booked through Disney with our park tickets and it was $211 a night! They upgraded us to a terrace room on the 15th floor 😍
Thanks so much. Looks like a nice hotel.
They are Awesome. We stayed in one in Gainesville FL last year during the bad hurricane that came came thru and it was perfect. We brought our dog, we loved the free breakfast and dinner, free popcorn and cocktails each night. Felt very safe from everything including the Storm. Our dog usually freaks when it thunders or rain can be heard on the roof and he was good and ran around in the big room that we got that could have been for a big family but it was just us 3. It was an awesome price then as well. We will definitely be staying at their hotel again !
I've stayed in a Drury Hotel in Nashville several years ago and my husband and I were very impressed. I'm sure this is a great facility, and I'd definitely stay at a partner hotel if I had any desire to go to Disney. I think the Drury chain is a quality hotel business.
When crossing the country we always tried to book at Drury hotels. Modern, clean, safe and the evening small bites and drinks, plus breakfast were great extras! Can't wait to stay at this one.
Drury Inn is my go to hotel no matter what state I am in I always stay with them. They always have great breakfasts and kick back afternoon meals with popcorn!
We have stayed at a few Drury hotels over the years in various other locations. Love their amenities as far as the food goes. We will be staying there in early November.
Stayed there when it was a Best Western. Got a rate of $35 a night thru Priceline. 5 day stay. Had two Queens and a view of Fireworks at night. June 2002.
We have stayed twice and loved it! You can't beat the amenities.
I always stay at this hotel chain when I go to NOLA. It's such a great value! They should let you exchange an alcoholic beverage ticket for just a regular soft drink or zero-proof drink. At least that's what the one in NOLA allows. Great hotel tour!
I actually am currently staying at the drury and I saw you at breakfast yesterday, I wanted to come say hi but you were over in the social media party and the worker said I couldn’t go in that area😢😢 Still was so cool seeing you!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m taking my 17 & 21 year old daughters. This looks perfect. Looking to get the king with the two room suite to give more space and privacy. I can see us doing the parks during the day and maybe Disney Springs late at night. What a great option
Looks like a lovely place to stay! Glad you were invited; I’m sure this will halp many people visiting Disney world🧡
Thanks for reviewing some of the lower-cost options for Disney hotels. I love the "on-site" Disney hotels but I can't afford them every trip, so getting an idea of what else is out there is great. This really looks like a good option!
There are cheaper on site options like most of the values. These are just nicer for what you pay then at on site. It’s still more than the value resorts. You can get an all star room in the 100s most times of the year. I even got one for 96 a couple times. I do have a little discount tho for passholder or Florida resident
😁 we love the Drury. They have one by Universal too. We have stayed in this Disney Springs one as well. I have not had a bad experience ever. The food really saves money. We walked easily to Disney Springs.
I am staying in a double queen with a living room in July. We are going with my grandson, daughter, son-in-law and my husband. This was a timely tour.
I’m curious to know if those queen beds are actually queens. I know that’s what it says online but in this video they look like doubles. Two pillows take up the entire width of the bed which doesn’t happen in queens.
Has anyone noiced when Tim dose the things you might forgot he says swim diapers the VERY first thing? #Parentslife lol
Thanks 🙏 Tim for showing this resort really nice 😊
Thank you for this video!! It was great being so detailed and able to see the entire hotel. I’ll be staying next month so being able to see everything was super helpful. Thank you for showing it 🤍
Thank you for this video. We watched and made the decision to book this hotel for a long weekend the week after Memorial Day. We couldn't get into our regular place but when we saw this video we said we would try it. Thanks for helping us find this place . It was worth the stay.
Let's see the evening dinner food offerings and lets see the inside of the accessible rooms please.
Great tour, Tim!! We stayed at the Drury Plaza Inn in New Orleans and loved it! Blocks away from Bourbon Street and more, and the nightly kick-back was one of our favorite parts of the stay! Highly recommend, Drury!!
Thank you for being the first to do this. We stayed at this hotel when it was Best Western and loved the location. Then, they rebuilt and covid and wondered what it would end up being like. Look forward to your review!
I discovered Drury a couple of years ago and now have several trips booked staying with them in different cities. Some Drury Hotels only do 2 drinks per night but that's the only change I can find. Staff is always so great and the perks are second to none.
Love the Drury Inns! Stayed in several in Texas and New Orleans. Will have to check this one out on our next trip.
TIM ALWAYS CHECKING TO SEE IF THEY HAVE USBS!
One of the reason we love drury is it is a great hotel, but free breakfast, snacks and drinks! Can’t beat that!
Value per dollar looks very high! We usually stay at Disney Deluxe Resorts but after all their takeaways recently we'd definitely be open to staying offsite. This looks beautiful. I particularly liked the King 2 bedroom. Just the two of us, but the separate couch area was great. And with the door to next room it would be perfect for when we travel with family. Thant so much for the walk thru.
My mom met you at the cafeteria. She makes the food there that you showed. Thanks for being so kind!
So happy that you toured. Staying here in October
Wow that’s an amazing tour! I never even knew that hotel exists! I usually stay at the Hilton because I’m a diamond member and I get a room upgrade (if available). But I bet this one will be cheaper. I gotta check it out next time I visit.
Can't wait to see your veiws on hotels and theme parks with now having both a toddler and newborn.
**sees Bible** **quick close**
Same 🤣
Ahhhh this is awesome!!! Thank you. We are looking for a hotel to stay in the Orlando area but not visiting the theme parks so looking to stay near disney springs so this was great timing!!
hi Tim thanks for the tour is a good option for people that doesn't want to stay at a disney resort 🦕
I love drury hotels and stayed at many and the breakfast potatoes are my favorite and the popcorn.
Thanks for sharing this alternative!! I just looked up a couple quotes and was was really impressed by the prices plus the amenities that come with it.
We've stayed at Drury Plazas in the past, loved the one in New Orleans! It was great with kids to have a suite at a reasonable price and free good breakfast and free nighttime food and drinks!
We stayed at the Drury Inn in New Orleans and loved it. Same amenities. We walked to Bourbon St. and a short Lyft to the port for anyone cruising from New Orleans.
This hotel is by far the best value, location, etc in Orlando, we stayed at a Drury in Dallas, they are like a stepped up Embassy Suites, loved our stay!!
Love the Spaceship Earth wallpaper 👍
We’ve stayed at several Drury Inns on our travels. Always a good experience and a good value. Glad to see they are at WDW now!
Flying into Orlando a few days before my Boardwalk reservation and just booked this hotel based on this review. Can’t get over the price. Have to try it out.
Had a good friend down from Maine (our native state) a few weeks ago and she stayed here and really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing a very detailed tour! Loved it.
i really like your tours of motels but i really really wish you'd put some info on things for those of us in wheelchairs. i watch your video's dailey and i love it when the boys do things i saw Jackson Bowl 2x and golf loved it. Thank you for all you do showing people about disney.
2 sides of the old tower top floor are rooms, and 3rd side is the Presidential Suite
Brilliant tour, loved this! Would love to see the Wyndham too, across from Springs
We’d seen a few reviews of the hotel, but watching your tour just cemented our decision to book here for the last couple of days of our vacation before flying back to the UK. It’s been a great place to stay, very comfortable, very chilled, great location for visiting Disney, and if you get a room on a higher floor, the views are spectacular across Orlando & Disney. The only real negative we’ve found are the food options can feel a little repetitive for kick-back & breakfast and the air conditioning in the rooms seems to allow you to hear into other rooms. I’d definitely recommend staying here, and me & my family will definitely stay here again on future trips.
I'm sold on this hotel. The included breakfast saves so much money. Back when my kids ate off my plate, all our meals were on Disney property. Now that they are considered "adults," this hotel is right up my alley. We'd probably never make it back for the evening snacks.
This looks like a great place to stay. Thanks Tim for showing this hotel. This came in handy since I’m planning a Valentines Week trip for my girlfriend and myself!
Thanks for doing a review of a partner resort. It’s becoming a real option for us, and we’ve always stayed on property before. Just can’t afford it anymore.
