    It sounds like a loose headset to me. Try tightening up the bearings a bit. I've also found it helps to put the front brake on and press down on the bars when you re-tighten the stem after adjusting the bearings. This avoids any play between the stem and head spacers - I've had this trouble in the past.

    Hi mate. Red o ring is to set your sag. Psi in the shock etc. May have a base setting for your weight.

    I've read or seen elsewhere about the knocking coming from the headset on these models but apparently was no issue. Also read the Bosch plate on the LHS of the motor comes off easily and can often end up lost.

    • @RealLifeGadgetReviews
      @RealLifeGadgetReviews  Před 4 lety

      Cheers, nothing feels loose put it that way, very odd sound (and feeling as it travels up and through the handle bars). Will keep an eye on the bosh plate situation thanks.

      @@RealLifeGadgetReviews it is the freewheel system in the Bosch Gen 4 motor. If you rock the rear cassette back and fore 1/4 inch you will hear the noise. It sounds just like a worn shock eyelet.
      the red ring on the shock is to set the sag on the rear suspension correctly .

  • @fraz172
    @fraz172 Před 4 lety

    The marks on the shock are for setting your sag. mine is set at 30% , it depends on your weight, too alter it you will need a shock pump.

    • @RealLifeGadgetReviews
      @RealLifeGadgetReviews  Před 4 lety

      Ok cheers, push to top, sit on it and see where its at? Aim to make it not sag at all?

    • @fraz172
      @fraz172 Před 4 lety +1

      @@RealLifeGadgetReviews 30 will make it a plush ride, 25 will keep the shock slightly higher in its travel. got a bigger volume spacer in mine then set pressure too get it at 30. do it on level ground sit on bike in your riding gear, push ring too top then check. more than 30 let air out less add air.

    So the big question, Cube ebike or Montesa trials what do you prefer? Do you still have the Mont.

    • @RealLifeGadgetReviews
      @RealLifeGadgetReviews  Před 4 lety

      Practice ground is shut at the moment, not allowed to ride sadly! Love motorcycle trials, once able to ride again I will for sure. I think though this emtb is a good middle ground in these times, its full suspension, fairly heavy, and being lighter than a motorcycle will help my elbow heal up whilst still going through some of the motions. Also good for general fitness to compliment motorcycle trials 😀

  • @jackbeames7643
    @jackbeames7643 Před 4 lety +6

    So the the rings on the suspension is your sag. You need to sit on it and set your sag to 25% of travel. To make it stiffer add more air with a suspension fork. Do not use a normal pump it will blow the seals.

    • @RealLifeGadgetReviews
      @RealLifeGadgetReviews  Před 4 lety

      Cheers dude, when it was dropped back with me after being repaired he pumped it up a bit as well so think its ok now.

    Hi, wonderful and funny review. Fantastic footage as well. I am considering to buy the 2021 Cube Stereo Hybrid Race 625 Allroad to commute to work and have fun like you in the weekend by driving it off-road. Would you buy the same bike again or would you go for something for something else? Did you had any issues so far? Is the battery well protected against dirt and water? Thanks in advance for your feedback. Cheers, Filip.

      Lol, NO chance. Had x2 Skydio R1's (sold 1 still have the other) and the Skydio 2 now (early offer from Skydio due to having 2 R1's), its a brilliant drone has to be said. Only issue is dense woodland really, not much cop in that, but open ground it will keep up with the wheel and eMTB.
