That’s the flop call signal refs use when calling a flop. It was implemented sometime in the last couple years where if a ref rules a player flopping, it’s essentially a foul on the flopper. Clark was asking the officials to call it on the defender

I saw a video of her recently, making a buzzer beater from almost half court on an inbounds pass. She caught the ball coming off the screen, and took 6 steps, I watched it numerous times and and about counted every one of them. It was extremely obvious. But it was a great shot, and I guess all they care about now is the thrill factor. Can't watch an NBA game these days without seeing traveling on about a third of the possessions. Have literally seen players get the ball at the top of the key, and run i all the way to the hoop for a dunk, and never dribble the ball once. Five, six, or seven steps. But the crowd and the TV audience want to see those plays. All about the ratings and highlight reels obviously.
Almost all of them travel with that move. That is dribbling in the opposite direction of your pivot foot. So easy to see and call, so it's ignored by the refs.
There's a lot more men's players than women's players so the talent level isn't going to be as high. Plus there's so many undersized women who couldn't hang.
