Haha, I forgot to mention I found it funny that in a video titles "How To Make Your Bedroom Studio Sound Great -" that one of the top recommendations was to move out of the bedroom and into the garage!

Really appreciate you guys making this video. This is one of the most difficult aspects of setting up your home studio to get figured out. On thing that may have helped even more than just the conversation would be some example diagrams of rooms and recommendations for that particular setup. I think that would help people get their brains around the thinking process for their particular room.

Great video. I ended up glueing 1/2 in sheets of cork board to the wall in front of my dest where my computer screen and monitors are. They way the new construction is these days all the bedroom doors are hollow so a layer of cork was put on my door also. Heavy set of drapes over the bedroom window that had light blocking material on it. Keeps the room a little cooler too. Crank up your amp and computer will raise the room temp too :-( These guys know what they are talking about, good video Mitch :-)

Some natural light options:Glass block for lots of light and high noise isolation but reflective. Solartube: UV controlled light from the sun and no sound reflection issues but maybe noise leaking from outside.
