I'm a millennial and I employed some gen z youngsters for work on a couple of music videos last year. It was hard to work with some of them. Unreliable with high egos. If there's anything I can pridefully point out is that when I was 18, in 2012, I worked my behind off and was grateful for any opportunity my way. I still stay in touch with some of my former bosses. Big difference

To live the middle class life in the US now requires to be in the top 20% of earners, in some cases a higher bracket than that. Gig jobs, freelancing, part time and non union jobs, and internships abound. There are way more beggars sleeping on sidewalks in Seattle or Newark than in say Vietnam today. Even the airports and bridges are falling apart -and flying from say, Vietnam, China, Ireland, Australia, or Malaysia or wherever to JFK or LAX is like going from the modern world to visiting a sketchy 1980s bus station.
Life being hard is all about perspective. I do agree with the notion that parents raised the generation as it is. A lot of confused idiots who do not know what sex they are.
