Gomer Pyle Series Finale Closing Scene

This is the closing epilogue for the last episode of the 1964-69 series "Gomer Pyle". The episode is entitled "Goodbye Camp Henderson, Hello Sgt. Carter". The freeze frame on the final handshake also indicates some closure for the long running series. Still somewhat ignominious of an ending for such a long-running series. Luckily it was tempered with the knowledge that they would both return immediately in "THE JIM NABORS HOUR".
His nut farm must have made him a bazillionaire as he has not had even ten credits in any other movie or TV role in the forty years since this programme left the air.
