So they're Sunfly? I thought they were Tina's. Good to know! Thanks

I think you're right, they are Tina. They have a matte finish on the edges which I haven't seen on Sun-fly. Good catch, thanks. I'll update the description and title.

@@Hobbyphilic so do you like them? The price is good. I've never had ceramics from Tina. But I've had BR poker pro. How do they comparing your opinion? You're basically the guy that got me into collecting chips lol

No I think they are Sunfly Blanks. This discussion has been made on The PokerChip Forum that the card inlay is outlined and recessed on the Sunfly chips where as Tina’s has the full card emblem recessed.

Looking at the sets side by side it’s hard to tell….. probably leaning towards Tina’s blanks

@@biggiesmalljaws Lol, they could be. I do like them. I have given a set away and these are at the top of my list, right now, to replace it.

The empires look like the Majestic China Clays. It's hard to tell they're ceramics. Matt Berkey was on a stream talking about his favorite types of decks. Me, I'm a chip snob and my local room uses ABS slug chips. lol I got to play in a newer room that wasn't getting a ton of traffic and they had almost new Paulsons. That was nice.

I'm leaning towards the Empires, only because the numbers are larger print.

They are awesome. Only complaint would be the similarity between the $25 and $100. They don’t make a dirty stack but it makes for a boring set imo. The cash denominations however are awesome.

Hi great channel! Love the reviews! I have a question for you… I am looking to complete my Nexgen Pro Classic poker chip set and I need at least 100 $100 denomination chips and cannot find them anywhere. Do you know of any shops that have them? I understand they have been discontinued. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Again awesome channel thanks!

I’m leaning towards the 50 cent, $1, and $5 Taj Mahals. I have a set of lucky horseshoe from Apache with higher denoms. So the smaller denom of those taj mahals would be a cool change up for poker nights

Drew Ac3d6c thinking it was time for a hand of Stud 8, then remembered you typically do Hold'em hands against Jane Doe McLuckbox. 😅
I really like both sets and love that we finally have card mold ceramics more easily available. Only things I don't like are as follows:
    1. I don't get why the Empire set has both a $0.25 and $0.50 chip. That's like having a $25 chip and then having a $50 chip (like many an ABS slug insert chip set).
    2. I wish there were a way to get custom denominations on both the Empire and Taj. I would love to get the Taj $0.25 chip as a $2.50 chip just for the irony of taking a $0.25 chip based on a $2.50 chip full circle to being a $2.50 chip. On top of that, a $2.50 chip would be perfect for making 3:2 payouts in Blackjack and make the perfect workhorse chip for $5/$10 or $7.50/$15 Limit games.
All in all, I hope Apache Poker Chips and Sun-Fly working together to bring cards mold ceramics to the U.S. of A. market will lead to more chip lines for us to try and buy. (I can see an amusing one for the former Bally's Las Vegas based on that one time the "Y" in Ballys was taken down for repairs. Also who doesn't love the $5s from the former Bally's Las Vegas?)

Great video as always. These both look great. I would be snapping up the Taj Mahals right now if not for it’s association with its former owner. That said, I will still probably pull the trigger on them.

I don't believe these chips are made by Sunfly. If so, the vendor is selling them MUCH cheaper than they can be bought from Sunfly directly. More likely these are from one of the Alibaba Chinese companies.

The ceramics feel great. I have a few of the old pokerstars ceramics, also have the old set of pokerstars cash game chips. 500 chip set with denominations, I think they're ceramics but could be wrong. But since watching your videos and the other guy who promotes your channel in some of his vids. I got a set of the oversize royal china clays for tourney play and added in some of the high stakes plaques. I love them and can't wait to play with the new plaques at the end of the month! The empires remind me of the look of the royals although I'd say they feel different. China clay vs ceramic

Do you know where someone who wanted to buy these directly from Asia could get them?

You're not really doing reviews anymore. Dealing out a random hand isn't necessary. I want to find out how these compare to the royals. You also did not mention if the labels on the empires are sublimation or stickers like the royals. Just a lot of pertinent info left out of this "review" and too much fluff. You're all over the place...
