Bicycle Chain tips

You'll love this. Talk about abuse to your bicycle, just look at this and then tell me Squirt chain lube doesn't work. I can't really do anything more supposedly wrong but the chain lives on and on and on.

On very long rides I will apply this night before and if any mud or filth get some hot water and pour it over the chain. No wear on the chain in 8000km so far of racing on and off road.

Just swapped my 12 speed sram chain after I think 20,000km ( I am not exactly counting ) using SQIRT. No idea if that’s good bad or not but the chain has been in just about every source of filth with little Maintenance in the woods for a month at a time. ( I don’t call it “bikepacking” …… don’t worry )

Anytime Graham, I'm doing a little bit of bike packing nothing massive like Josh, just simple overnighters exploring locally. May get out next week for another adventure. I'm reliant on 2 wheels for transport at the moment as the car is off the road@@GrahamFootBicycleLover
