The faster the large wheel spun the less the smaller wheels would be in contact with the ground to provide the counter rotation. So when you increase the speed of the electric motor it "equalized" the forward and reverse "momentum" (Scrap Mechanics "physics")

That santa thing with thrusters on a rope. I did that last week in trailmakers (usung hinges with 0 str) while making a podracer:p The pods where attached to eachother and had hovere pads. This way you could go straight. But when the attache string snaps, you go haywireXD it was really like the movie, amazing.

This reminds me of strafe wheels, they are essentially dawg, I heard you like wheels; so I put wheels, inside your wheels.
The way that they work is that wheels' tyres are made out of more wheels facing horazantally.
That piston wedge contraption could make a nice puzzle locking system

For the santas sleigh, i wouldve tried to build a cross-brace, connecting the thrusters on the middle and maiking it more stable

What if brick gang and wedge gang combine forces by making a brick out of wedges
the one around 15:00 , the piston on wedge launcher thing, could make for an interesting locking mechanism. it pushes into the wedge, then the wedge clips through the suspension due to it having no collision, holding the block in place

With the thrusters, I would suggest you to connect them together side to side with 'rope'.
You brought up the Pod Racers and they were tethered together.
Not to mention that the 2 sets of leads from the reindeer would be attached together in several places.
The moonwalking car was so satisfying!
Also, if you moonwalk in-place it's usually called air waking.
Don't know how the devs never got the idea for a connector block, especially one that centers 2 blocks.

At 5:46 the way you faced the spud gun would mean that the cardboard is pulling away from the spud so it will be hard to hit. But if you faced the spud gun the other way the cardboard would be rushing to the spud so it might have worked.

On the first creation you should have put the spud gun on a base and when The Sensor gets activated it would shoot a single spud gun
the moonwalk when you stay still is called the shuffle
The reason why the last low tension snep launcher attempts disappointed was because the first low tension snep launcher attempt had a lot more time to compress, maximising the effect.

I have some ideas for scrap mechanic challenges:
Dogfight using planes with vacuum pumps with concrete. A couple blocks, and planes will be falling out of the sky. Of course, you would have to get close…
Battleship challenge where each round you add more and more guns, till everyone just has a ridiculous amount of guns on their ships
Bomber challenge where one person has a bomber made of cardboard and everyone else has turrets and they have to shoot down the bomber. Each successful bombing run (bomber doesn’t get shot down) gains the bomber a point, and everyone takes turns using their bombers.
18:50 if you look closely, theres a pretty big hint in the drawing...
its the seat placement, thats definitely where a seat would go on a moonwalking car.

I have a fix for the first creation. Just make the spot where the spud guns are wider and move the cardboard block and explosive over one from the spud gun. So when it shoots, it will account for the movement.
My favourite creation was the brick. Really unique
On the santa sleigh, the thruster links amount to two-arm pendula, so it probably is by definition of chaotic beahavior truely chaotic.

13:08 you should've built a brick out of wedges to prove the superiority and versatility of the wedge.
On the first one you had the spud guns on the wrong side when you did the last try with it. On the bottom is should've been on the left, not on the right
Wow the moonwalking car is really interesting. It works just like intended. Also, Scrapmechanic physics aren't feeling too good are they?
#Idea If you remember the rockets/thrusters on rope, you should do a race where you have to attach one of those to your car (only one thruster on whatever power is really difficult but still possible)
#Idea Moonwalking Car Race (could just be reversed control race)
#Idea Egg Race! You have to balance a egg made of explosive on top of your car the entire race, and if it explodes, you lose, AND, this would be a race in the mountains so if you drop it your most likely dead, AND you need some ground clearance so it might explode even if it doesn't fall of a cliff. (You cant have an airtight egg holder thing, it has to be able to move around a little bit in whatever your holding it in, which can not be a grabber, must be some sort of cup or platform)

Not going to lie I'm most impressed that you caught that suspension glitch random flier every time.
for the sleigh try connecting the two ends together (you compared it to podracers so simular to how the connect the ends (not with magnetic lighting but with more bearings rope)) because thats also how the animal driven vehicles are as well

For the explosive barrel trebuchet, I'm thinking the guns pointing against the spin could offer a better solution. (Wheel spins clockwise-to the right means the spud gun points to the left.)
My theory is that the spud is released and the wheels momentum is what allows it to collide with the cardboard. (Where as how you had it the wheels momentum makes the released spud probably collide with the spud gun that shot it.)
Second thought, just came to me, maybe put a bar in front of the explosive barrel so the released explosive barrel before it smacks that instead of the next one thus a chain reaction. (Maybe...?)
Add a connection to the thrusters on Santa’s sled to make it stable-ish lol
That Sled thing reminds me of a Pod racer from Star Wars.
