    Really enjoyed this little jaunt. We’d love to see more bus journeys in Scotland or NI/Ireland. Ahh, the scenery. Beautiful rain or shine. :)

    Great trip if you have time it's a stunning route from Stirling to Glasgow via the villages of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. As someone who lived just outside and worked in Stirling for 10 years it's funny to hear you talk of The Kings Knot- we always referred to it as the cup and saucer! There's one inaccuracy in your video- at 3:29 you state you cross the M90 motorway- it is in fact the M9 (the M90 is the Perth to South Queensferry motorway). Would love to see more bus trip reports on your channel 🚌

    Good job mate. Agree with you on the travel thing. The amount of new stuff I’ve learnt from travelling, I’m sure you’re the same. And yes, more bus videos or anything really. Always enjoy your vids 😊

      Cheers mate. I love discovering new stuff and doing it from the seat on a bus is a fine way to see things. More vids on their way! Keep doing what you do as well, top YT content.

    Nice find of a bus route, a really interesting one. Well done finding this one. We really have some real gems of hidden bus routes all around the country, just waiting to be explored. Buses are great as they take you to little villages you would never have seen. A part of the world I know nothing about

      I totally agree. Generally, I’ll jump on a train if I can but this journey reminded me of just how much there is to see from the seat of a bus. Thanks so much for watching, it’s really appreciated.

    Bring on the bus videos, especially around Inverness, there are some stunning routes there!
    Definitely had to breath in when you met the other bus 🚌.

    I definitely would love to see more bus videos. Especially in the north. I really enjoyed your durness bus video. A service so local to me but one I've never done. Great video as always

    Up here in Orkney the X10 is the bus which meets the ferry from Aberdeen or Lerwick at Hatston late at night and goes into Kirkwall then through to Stromness. I don't think that would make much of a video though, maybe in mid summer but from August - May... Maybe not🌙

    Nice one mate. Definitely enjoy the scenic route, both bus and train! The Buchanan obelisk, is that the same Buchanan that the Glasgow street and bus station are named after? As an aside, it's been a while since I was in Stirling, my sister's graduation from the uni there in 2004!

    • @Timstravels01
      @Timstravels01  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Thanks mate. I never connected the Buchanan obelisk with Buchanan Street in Glasgow, apparently the street was named after a tobacco lord, plantation owner and former Lord Provost of Glasgow. I don’t know if those credentials would get you a street name these days!
      I really like Stirling, it’s a pleasant spot.

    Instead of taking the x10 from Stirling to Glasgow take a x36 Swift from Stirling as it only takes around an hour compared to the over 2 hours the x10 takes since the x36 goes on the motorway :)

    • @Timstravels01
      @Timstravels01  Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah, we just fancied taking the scenic route but the Swift is definitely the speedier option!
