I compare the weight of a stainless steel and CarbonSix carbon wrapped barrel, and I break down the components of my new rifle build. www.tandkhunting.com/
I have a fluted barrel on my Sauer 202 in .270 win. It weighs 2lbs, 3 oz. It is 22" long with a muzzle diameter of .630". It shoots 5-shot 5/8" groups all day long (3-shot half-inch groups). I like light rifles and I'd rather have a light, fluted steel barrel weighing 2 1/2 lbs that shoots half-inch than a carbon fiber wrapped barrel weighing 3 1/2 lbs that will shoot a string of 10 or more shots into half an inch. No one fires 10 rounds at a game animal.
If their good enough to be in a jet engine as turbo fan blades why wouldn't they be in a rifle? I'm lost at all the negative things on these without any tests done. Trying to do a light build. Also the turbo fan blades spin at like mach stupid and are fused with titanium while being close to 3,000 degree heat. I'm really lost. Why would they waste engineering time to make these if they didn't work?
have you ever heard of a measurement called metric, the rest of the world has. only country in the developed world that still wholly uses imperial measurements along with 2 african countries
If anyone's wondering he compares the weight at 4:05.
Good video brother. Semper Fi.
How’s the build coming ? Need follow up video as I’ve ordered the E3 Magnesium Chassis doing a very similar build. Thanks for content
Also curious how your build finished up? Any update video's available?
What’s up buddy. I have a proof research rifle. Love it. Hope all is well
Everything is going great here bro. I'll hit you up soon to catch up.
Would love an update!
Thanks .

Yeah. I just needed the two numbers. I don’t care about the build. If the title said my gun build I wouldn’t have clicked.
Got sick of waiting could have done in 10th of time
3:06 and 4:05. Some guys like the sound of their own voice

Just divide by 2.2, it's not that hard.
