Evidence Law: The Nature of Evidence

  • This is the first of a series of lectures on Evidence and Proof in Queensland. We look at some of the fundamental issues around evidence laws. What do we mean by evidence? What is the difference between fact and law? What standards of proof must be met? Who bears the burden of proof?

      I actually did my undergrad degree in NSW, and was taught evidence law by the late, but ever so great, Professor Eilis Magner. I hope your comments make her proud :)

    just wanted to say im actually studying cert IV in criminal law, and am currently defending myself from an apvo, i will surely be watching this to the end of the series just for knowledge sake, i dont need to hunt mine down :D ive gotta win :D

    If you or any of your fellows taught any of the dud adjudicators at NCAT NSW we the oublic are all in loads of trouble.They are the most appalling human beings that make farce of any forms of law.
