Evidence Law: The Nature of Evidence

This is the first of a series of lectures on Evidence and Proof in Queensland. We look at some of the fundamental issues around evidence laws. What do we mean by evidence? What is the difference between fact and law? What standards of proof must be met? Who bears the burden of proof?
