Building a Wood Solar Kiln with Green Lumber - Part 1- The Base

Another project that I started working on with the new sawmill is a solar wood kiln. I plan on doing a several part video series going over the build as I get time to work on it.

I like your video. I subscribed. This is the type of kiln I would like to build on my property. I have already cut down a white oak tree, and cut the slabs. They are 11 feet long. I am thinking of going 16 feet long for the kiln, and about 6 feet deep. Do you happen to have details of your kiln? length size, drawings?

How will you run the fans? Solar?

Yes, they are directly hooked to a solar panel. So they only run when the sun is out.
