@@AscensionWaves that’s so cool. It’s such a fascinating country. There are so many interesting places in the world that I wouldn’t know anything about without books. 💜

Wow, so many authors to look up. I really love this challenge and it’s so tempting, but I’d probably implode with overwhelm if I tried it at this point in my life. I’ve brought so many new books into the house this year and it’s rare when I decide to donate them. Still, jotting things down, love these videos 😊

@@SecondThoughtsAboutTheMission I’m always happy to help with your TBR! It is a bit overwhelming but I have a notebook and calendar to keep track of everything, and I started with the Middle East and North Africa, so that was a bit more manageable. It’s also much harder to find books in English from some places so it’s easier to start with Nigeria than Benin. Reading more from Africa is the coolest experience though. It’s so much more interesting than the media seems to realise.

And shelving is definitely a problem!

You’ve definitely helped with my TBR, lol 😊 I definitely want to check out the books from Africa. If I didn’t have so many planned for this year, that I’m lucky if I can even get half through, I’d take on an additional challenge. And I really need to find a way to incorporate more reading time, because I feel like I don’t have as much time these days, but I know I could change a couple of habits. Shelving … yeah … thinking about doing a book haul vid at some point

@@SecondThoughtsAboutTheMission yeah some months I only manage audiobooks while I’m doing other things and a lot of African books haven’t been made into audiobooks (through some have). Basically, all I did was read this weekend but I realise not everyone can do that.

@@NicoleACottageWitch I wish I believed in myself enough to try audiobooks 😂 I zone out listening to podcasts sometimes and I have to go back or listen to the same episode over again later.
