So cool to find this amazing piece of music featuring my most favorite female vocalists. I mean listen to these girls. Absolutely PERFECT harmonies. Valerie did so much amazing work with many famous musicians but her own music is so amazing, love all her stuff. And Linda, well it just goes without saying........
Isn’t it easy to see why Jackson Browne would love and pursue this beautiful woman , Valerie Carter , with all of her talent ? I always wondered that if the good life with him could have saved her from her addictions and having a heart attack and dying at a fairly young age ,
Probably not. He seemed to indicate that he was in a dark place at the time he pursued her and when he talked about her, he mentioned that he "tried to possess her," which apparently scared her off. If a person is determined to go down that road, they tend to find a way regardless. She was surrounded by a lot of people who loved and cared about her and still fell victim to addiction.
I'd appreciate it if anyone can tell me who's playing that acoustic and singing harmony with them. I've googled around but can't find anything about personnel on that tour. Maybe used the wrong search terms or maybe simply too early in the day :) OMG what a performance by them all.
