This was good. I see other videos where they are cutting air. Here in Florida we have tough, thick st augustine grass and it rains every damn day!

Same here in Michigan, literally have to cut every 3 days maximum if you want your grass looking semi taken care of 🙃

How do you find the tension in the red (On) handle bar? Do you get sore hands using it? I do using my Makita mower…
I haven’t had to mow 2’ grass though, I’m stoked to see that it potentially could if I had to!!

I have the same Makita model as in the video. Personally Ive not had any problem with the tension of the red handle in two years of use. Never had sore hands.

I'm guessing the 36V string trimmer is no slouch either.

This was interesting, but stretching the blades of grass out doesn't make it two foot high! The battery life is abysmal though, which is such a shame. Thanks!

I’ve had this model Makita going on for two seasons and it mows very well. The batteries last through my 1/2 acre of grass no problem. I purchased a back up pair of batteries but really don’t need them. Probably have needed to tap them twice when the lawn was 2 weeks long. Solid build.

i mean dont have to deal with buying gas all the time, cleaning carbs, stabilizing or draining fuel for winter, gummed up spark plugs, i could go on..
all you have to do for this thing is charge the battery. never going back to gas, ill buy 10 batteries if i have to.

Only thing the battery mower needs is a charge and sharpen blades. Pretty much zero maintenance and mine does 1/4 acre of lawn easily with 2x6Ah batteries. Would never go back to gas mowers.

@@kevn99 I have the same mower and this thing isn’t enough to reliably mow my almost 1/3 acre. I have some slope and now they it’s fall the lawn is often wet. The batteries are absolutely savaged by these factors.
No hyperbole this thing’s self propel is so slow as batteries fade that the extra time there is much higher than any manual maintenance on my prior gas mower.
I am researching gas mowers again and most likely picking up a Honda. I realized mowing on Sunday this thing is so bothersome it took the pleasantness out of mowing for me. Self propel doesn’t work well, and it lacks power so the cut quality is very poor.
