  • A quick note on maintaining the GSG drum and a note about the follower. This is the same for the GSG drum mag for the Mod5 and for the Ruger 10/22

    the latest GSG 110 round mags contain a plastic follower with unbanded dummy bullets - this video is of an older model...

      Ati gave me the updated one at their expense. Super nice company. All they require is that you call by phone and not use their online customer support because their online is non-existent.

      Is this one the same as the gsg-16 110 rd drum? I'm jus trying to find out wat one fits the Roger 10/22. Do u kno? Wat is the difference? Any advice would b great! Thanks. We don't have any good stores here so I would have to order online. Just want to make sure I order the right one. The gsg-16 and gsg-ATI I just didn't kno if they were the same thing or if they both fit the 10/22 Ruger .22, and couldn't fit much info on it.

    I know im way late to the video but i found a great solution to jamming my paw paw has one of these amd couldnt use due to jamming if you take the dummy rounds out completely and just have a few 22 bullets to hold the tension it works wonderfully the dummy rounds was making it was to stiff they kept blocking and holding the spring up yes you will have about 5 or 6 byllets you wont ahoot ever but it makes it work alot smoother i also recommend taking it apart putting it back together to tune the spring tension having it to tight can make it jam as well hope this helps anyone thats looking for the info

    Mine doesn't work right on my 10/22 tactical this mag seems to load the round but upon extraction it seems NOT fully extract and thus load a new round dubble feeding it! My regular 25rnd sticks work just fine.
    HELP!

      Replace the stock extractor wuth a Volquartsen extractor. It will work great after that.

      @@tacdad I have a new extractor from tandem kross and I have the same issues as the other guy. The feed lips are blocking the bullet from ejecting. I can't even load the gun let alone fire with the mag.

    Mine didn't have that strip in it and the fake bullets don't have a slot through them.

      Some time down the line GSG stopped using the banded version so you have one of the newer drums.

    I didn't get that follower with mine. Is it supposed to?

      The newer version changed the design. No follower on that one.

    Took you 50 seconds starting at 2:30 to tell us that the fake bullet (same as all the other ones) has a slot in the side (just like all the other ones) for the plastic strip to go through. Fr?

    Where can you find the adapter for the 22lr?

    • @tacdad
      @tacdad  Před rokem +2

      There is no adaptor, you have to order the one that is specifically for the Ruger 22LR
