I think Wilmon is endgame AND Wille will be king. This is based on an examimation of the subtext. But the most clear evidence is for a Wilmon endgame. Wille assuming the crown -- maybe 70% likely
This season is gonna BREAK ME AND BE THE END OF ME. If we don't get a WILMON ENDGAME I will fly to Sweden and find the writers and ask WHY

It looks pretty dramatic. In one of the interviews Edvin and Omar said the season 3 ending will be bittersweet, whatever that means. Will find out soon enough.
I don't think they'll dare keep Wille and Simon separated, the fans would literally riot 😂 I'm afraid it's going to be bittersweet because Wille will probably renounce the throne... which leaves August as possible heir??? I'm pretty sure August will get away with what he did because he's far too connected to the royal family to end up behind bars 🙄 that's the way it is... but I really hope he won't become King. THAT I could never get over. Not only he doesn't get jail time, he gets REWARDED with what he wants the most??? No thank you!!!
Best case scenario (aka August doesn't stand a chance of getting the throne): in the future Wille becomes King and decides to break the wheel and reform the system, which will eventually lead to the abolition of the monarchy (not immediately of course, possibly after he passes of old age).
@@nenegrey2282 The problem I see is that no monarchy has ever been abolished by a peaceful transition. It's always because of a revolution, war, and/or execution of the monarch. In the absence of revolution or war, it's hard to change such an ingrained system and there's generally little benefit to do so in a democratic constitutional monarchy. I hope it's bittersweet because Wille and Simon stay together and Wille remains heir to the throne, but August doesn't get punished. Also bittersweet because it's the end of the series. I certainly hope they don't abolish the monarchy, which just isn't possible in times of peace.

I think Willy will be the king AND will stay with Simon. The whole "motto" of the show is about revolution, hence the song in the first season. Willy will make his revolution and stay with the throne and love. About the bittersweet comment, I saw this interview and I interpreted that Edvan said the end of the series is bittersweet because the series ends (bitter), but there will be a closure to the story (sweet) because Lisa (the writter) almost couldn´t bring the whole story to tv. I don't think the bittersweet reference is about the ending.

To be honest, I'm actually kind of relieved they're trying to cast the tone as negative? There were a bunch of leaked happy looking photos and when I first thought they were official releases, I got really worried because I feel like if they're setting up happy, you get unhappy and vice versa.

@@CallindorCray-dp7no Some of the ones I have watched are more comic, and most of them have some comedy in them, but in addition to the ones mentionedso so far, I have very much liked Last Twilight and Vice Versa, and I have heard very good things about Not Me, though I haven’t watched it yet. Only Friends has its fans and it’s detractors, but I enjoyed it, and it’s got some excellent performances..

I have stressed this point on other videos. Wille is too young to abdicate for a relationship. Relationships are difficult enough can we imagine the pressure of, I gave up my throne for you, being added into a teenage love afair?!!? Then I'm on an island when it comes to August - the boy is unwell and no one is paying attention - it makes me profoundly sad! I'm bracing to have my heart ripped out, blended, set ablaze and the ashes spread in the breeze along with my sanity!

Has anyone noticed that August is wearing a white suit with black bow tie at the 4:03 mark? It looks like he and Sara are about to kiss. It is obvious that there is an event in which they are all wearing white but his suit doesn't look as casual as the others. 🤨😐

If August becomes "king", I could never handle it and I'm really scared. As Wilhelm said in the first season to his mother : he is rewarded despite all the harm he has caused her and as he also said to Simon: August will be defended by the best lawyers in Sweden. And to Félicie: the royal family will protect him. It's as if August really has a halo above his head. He always gets away with it. If Wilhelm abdicates and August becomes king, will that also mean that Wilhelm was not the main character?

I'm calling it right now. Whilem will abdicate (in advance of him becoming king) August will become the Crown Prince 🤴. He'll also marry Sara, who is currently pregnant with his child, ensuring the future of the monarchy. Unfortunately, the stress of this situation will split Wilmon up, but at least Whilem will be a free, private citizen.

I read that it's coming out on 'two parts' - which makes sense with the two dates...but I don't know if that means like you said, they'll release all the episodes in one go (part 1) and then the finale (part 2), or if it's only two episodes...i swear though, if it's two episodes and they're not at least feature length I'll be MAD! 🥴

March 11th. I'm getting nervous. I've read too much about the Windsor/Wallace debacle. Will Willem abdicate? Well Simone become the King Consort? Sweden's monarchy is one of the oldest in the world, dating back more than 1,000 years. This could get really serious. No wonder Willem's so full of anxiety.

They can't be friends, they literally can't. They tried being friends in both seasons and it just never worked
No way. They will end up together because I had read somewhere that Edvin and Omar finally declared "they exist and they are proud" but the question that must be asked is will Wilhelm abdicate? And will August become the king of Sweden? Which I absolutely don't want. As far as I know, they also said the ending would be bittersweet. Did this sentence come from the fact that it was the last day of filming? Edvin also said that he loved the ending. Let's pray that this is the ending we all hope for.
I agree tbh; I think that at some point, they’re both going to realise that all the stress and pressure will be too much for both of them to handle. They’ll realise that they don’t want to put themselves or each other through that anymore. I think it might end with them deciding to part ways…but then maybe there might be a flash forward and they might cross paths again briefly in the future, and that’s how it’s going to end?? 🤷🏻♀️🤔 (just my theory)
@@katerivera1661 I don't think they will break up again. We've been under all this stress since halfway through season 1 and all of this season 2 and let's not forget that this is the last season. Of course, they both suffer a lot but I think they will face things together and help each other like when Simon asks him the question "what do you like about the monarchy? And the other example is when they are in the classroom and Simon looks at Wille. We see that he is writing something. This time he is really trying to understand Wilhelm and the world he lives in. They want to base their relationship more on communication which is what "They didn't do it before. They're obviously going to make mistakes like getting into each other's head again. We saw the clip in that damn music room where one of them says "I don't recognize you anymore" and Wilhelm snaps the door. But let's not forget that they are teenagers and one of them is the crown prince.

Actually, I recently read that a gay heir doesn't need to abdicate the Crown [irl] and the Crown is actually fine with a gay King/Queen. _Of course, for drama's sake .........._
the royal family of Sweeden released a statement when the first season came out. they said that it wouldn't be a problem to have a gay king/queen.
Many have opinionated that the Queen does not look good or is sick in the clip. Perhaps, she is dying?
