- How does lava splash around in a crater during a volcanic eruption? Its only one way to find out and this is how it looks from air after I reduce the speed to 50%. This is also a test project since I've been filming this crater for days now in order to see how it is changing before the next big event that could start anytime now. Check my last update for that:

Quite interesting how the clouds of smoke show different colours, the emissions from the crater lake a more blue-ish tint like cigarette smoke, the emission from the rim a bright white leaving behind a white deposit. Gypsum? Chalk? Good stuff, Gylfi! 🤗 Professor Wilsey will love this! 🤩

If you play this back at 2x speed it's a normal eruption with dance music. 😂

even at normal speed, it is hard to gage the size of the crater because to lava seems to fall in slow-mo. there is never anything near it to give a visible reference frame. how wide is the crater mouth? its not on google maps satellite view to see it.
