Without being rude, I don’t believe most infj type are truly infj. It comes from the deep desire to be so, because the Infj and Ni has been over inflated and egoic, and we are all animals of ego. and when you go on and take tests you can easily subconsciously create the result you want. I have been diving deep in mbti for over ten years, and I mean obsessively. And I know 99 percent that I am infj but I can easily relate to almost all NF and NT types to the point that I can test as one if I wanted to. Infj cognitive stacking is insane, it’s not all that pleasant or mystical, it’s a very hard stack to actually understand and the absolute isolation that comes with being a literal contradiction ... is quite the journey. As for the colouring of personality types, I think that can come down of course by how we are raised as well. There is no place for Ni in the real world, and because of the strong Fe, we tend to chameleon to the environment causing a disconnect with self, never really showing our true selves even in close relationships or through our words online and in literature. I also believe in the enneagram and I think that can give layers to all personality types - flavouring, yet the core struggles and strengths should be the same across the board and completely natural. (As in not making a conscious effort to activate the shadow functions) there is comfort for humans in boxes, even the ones who strongly believe in authenticity, still want the feeling of belonging and connecting, so we naturally create these boxes, a person can fit wherever they need to and can manifest the qualities of said box if hanging out there long enough... but it doesn’t make it truth.

Chantel Wensley I think that if a person is not active in their natural box they will tire quicker. I view the natural stack of a person to be as a metaphor the best gas mileage of energy use. Other things are doable they just require more resources. The "Box" that is type is a thing of both nature and nurture. You are born in a box and then grow out of it. Some don't. As you get older Less of yourself as a whole can fit back into that one box. Kind like a plant that has outgrown its original pot. One thing people don't get told is to best find your type when testing answer how you would as if you are 15-20 years old. That's a time when your developed, but still haven't grasped what your weak points are as to balance yourself out. A more holistic self. The box is always there at the core, but it gets worn out and looser over time.
Enneagram and Instincts I think is a great addition to the Resume that is you. MBTI explains the head. Enneagram does that while also giving nuance to ones deeper motives of drive from their heart and desires that come from the body. I would suggest getting tri-type and instincts first then figure type. It helps narrow the probability of which type.
Some of the things I think about regularly. Ironically given my Tri-type.

To confirm I am an INFJ. I took the test in high school as part of picking a career that was best. In Terms of collage, what would be best suited. Things of that nature. Also, my therapist tested me again. Still INFJ. An very happy to be one :)

Most INFJs *are* mistyped. It's due to a variety of reasons, but from personal experience, I think a lot of it can be attributed to our Fi critic. Renders us almost blind to ourselves (it certainly did me). It also does not help that a lot of online information about the INFJ tend to pander to silly populist mis-notions. On top of all that, the fact that the Ni is the hardest, most mysterious function to define, yet alone determine.
A blindness to self >> Misinformation >> No understanding of one's lead function = Formula for loss (and by "loss" I fully mean the throes of being lost; barely having had identity/purpose/direction in the first place).
I will almost never "score" INFJ in any formal capacity because, like you Ren, I'm cerebral. We live in our heads so much, we're constantly mistaken (and used to mistake ourselves) for Ts. Testing as an enneagram 5w4 was the first step that started me on my latest journey of awakening. From there, it was almost all my Ni that led me to collide head-on with the INFJ which, as I began to understand deeper and deeper, I now know instinctively I am.
I can articulate this perfectly in writing. But ask me in person, and a non NF (85% of the world?) will consider me rubbish! 🤗

Thank you for sharing your views on Ni Dom being mistyped. Looks like most of the people want to be called INFJs, though they are not, as INFJs are mystical beings.

Nice room tour. No clutter, good zen feel to it. Ni use in your videos and in the comments will be sparce...there is a bit of mistaken arrogance to Ni use that an INFJ won't throw it about lightly.like you said, it's generated within and can be private. it can be depicted from a two way conversation with ease.the Ni dom will talk about their intuitive interpretation of events as if they are facts.he said this because xyz she did that because xyz etc... A deep knowing and full conviction. It can leave a non Ni user feeling as though you pull notions out of thin air. It's a controversial trait and can be used for not so good intentions.the infj is not a pigeonhole.we can be individuals within its confines, and we have the intellect to step outside it's confines also.hope that contributes.infjs are writers of traits for personal use so there's a good chance online infjs won't give too much away.maybe we want to keep the mystery alive lol...
Emma carey one word / yes ! And usually these insights are not taken as literal facts by other, there is no belief in what we say until it materializes for them in the physical. If that makes any sense.
@@ChantelStayswhen your insight manifests as truth for the other, you can be met with a number of reactions, most often standoff, but if the other person is a developed soul, you will be heard and probed for answers about how you arrived at your conclusions. That process is private and sometimes too difficult to explain.words have no right sometimes.
