I enjoyed this game a lot back in the days of N64. More so because of the 2player co-op. My brother and I played this game together and beat it multiple times. If this was on Nintendo's virtual console I would not have a problem shelling out the subscription fee for it.
the same for me, I played it with my grandmother and we had a blast bismaru, taisamba, final kabuki, death and the god of thunder and wind whose name I forgot xDDD
Man this was so crazy back in the day. I thought to myself you’d never see anything like this on a ps1 game
I don't know, but in any case I haven't seen gameplay similar and as good as the mystical ninja robot fight.
Maybe that's why it's still for me my best game ever :)
This and its N64 prequel need to be on Switch.
I had to play this all in one go as I never had the memory cart. Was total commitment everytime. Even had to get all the tags and to to the secret tengu village. Good times
best game ever for me of course xD, i spent hundreds and hundreds of hours on this game growing up, i still have the original n64 cartridge, and i will bury it with me on day of my death (in a very very very very very long time I hope xD)
These games always had excellent music
I remember the disappointment i felt when they made this game a 2d platformer, but now I actually want to play it, and feel it looks really cool
I understand this point of view, but for once try it, you should not be disappointed, the adventure remains very pleasant to go, and the robot fights are much more intense than the 1 on N64;)

In all honesty when I was a kid I never got beyond the third boss fight. Even my parents got hooked on playing this game back in the day. Of course though that was when there wasn't anything else to do. Still though me personally I re got this game I think in highschool and was finally able to beat it. I did have to search online though for how to complete some of those side missions. It was such a fun game. I just wish that the alt. Costumes were better. Some of them I did not agree with, but eh everyone's got their own opinions.
And you have every right to express your opinion on this channel in any case, no one will insult you for having given your opinion, I am watching over it in any case;)
After the game it is not perfect, it has major flaws, I am not a fan of the camera which tends to frame in front of me instead of behind me to see the level, sometimes the aim is not sensational, but the game has a universe of his own that no one can deny.
Despite its flaws, Mystical ninja remains and will remain one of the games that I had the most of my laughs at and which made me love burlesque Japanese games the most :)
This game is very good when I played the Super Nintendo version I was very happy,it's a pity that this game was not known here in Brazil, yes I'm Brazilian
I reassure you, the game is not known in France either xDDD
And yet, all the games of the Mystical Ninja license are incredible, they are part of my top 3 of the best Konami licenses :)

I played this game because I love Goemon but I would rather play game 1 three times than playing this one. Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon is my favorite game of all time.

I have to say It’s sad to see that awesome good looking bosses have to be so easy like Kabuki 64 and Well mostly Dochuki.
So Kabuki 64 could have been an excellent final boss, the only gameplay element that killed his power is that when you hit him, even if he protects himself, his action cancels him, until he does the one that doesn't protect him and suddenly makes him an easy boss.
Dochuki on the other hand, it's very disappointing for me, Why end up on the final boss without an impact fight like in the 1 Versus D'ETOILE? Well it's a choice of the developers I accept, but then why is Dochuki so easy to kill. He's so badass as a villain throughout the adventure, and the only time we have to face him is bad. That's a shame. But that doesn't prevent it from being one of the best games of all time subjectively :P
When I played this game I was a kid and bro the giant skeleton scared the shit out of me i quited the but 1 year later I did it and come the guy on the door that didn't let me pass so I was upset and I guess I didnt play the game after that
And it's a shame because the game I find extremely excellent, the whole Japanese universe, the boss fights, the robot fights, everything is perfect to play it until you finish it and ask for more again and again 😁

Final Kabuki is the name of the robot, maybe they meant in its final stage.
Besides, he will appear later in a ganbare goemon on psx kabuki and final kabuki as the 1st boss and 1st robot fight ^^
