As a black man getting ready to buy my first travel trailer and hit the road, I feel like I'm sitting in your passenger seat with you. Love your channel.
thank you !!
WE LOVE RVerTV.
Had to throw in the race card?
@@IDNHANTU2day I thought the same thing.🤣
Awsome you got a good buddy with Russ enjoy your travels 🥰
Although I'm not an RV'er I enjoy watching and listening to your videos. They help me relax and enjoy the scenery of the country.
Me too
Don't need an RV. Stay in hotels.
Awesome, thank you!
WE LOVE RVerTV.
Thanks Russ for all the neat places you have highlighted on your show. Keep on scouting for my wife and I.
Folks, You Don't need an RV for visiting all of these locations presented by RVerTV. My wife and I drive a standard car to the places presented on Russ' show.
I don't camp. I book a hotel near a cluster of Russ' "suggestions" . Next week I'm driving from Los Angeles to Oatman AZ to feed the Burros, then to the Museums in Kingman AZ. Then to a Hotel in Havasu that sits at the foot the London Bridge. We'll walk, dine, and shop in the London bridge area.
The next morning, drive down to Bill Williams Natural refuge. Then to the Parker Dam to take pictures. Then Breakfast or lunch at one of the many places along the Arizona side of the Colorado. Then drive to scout out the Blue Water resort for future reservation (if we like it). Then on south to some Intaglios near Blythe. Then home. All in 2 days. What else does a 70 year old retiree do for fun.
A couple of weeks later, rinse and repeat to another location.
Many retire to deep ground past 70.
Beautiful day, birds chirping, and a delicious piece of pie. My Saturday would be awesome!
You should visit Pie Town NM during their festival on Sept 10th. Never been there but think I might go this year.
He's been there.
Hi Tom. On My Way !!!
WE LOVE RVerTV.
Kkkk

40 years ago I traveled this area, way before roundabouts. Probably saw John Wayne or Roy Roger's. Lol. The open and vast desert areas are peaceful. I can see why people boondock and enjoy the night stars around a campfire. Enjoying every bit of this years travels. Most people don't see their own backyards. RV'er TV is my addiction. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
BRAVO.
The Jack Daniels Pecan pie is amazing. I'm not a big fan of Jack, but in the pie, it's great.
I worked with Penny in that bakery in 1998. She was a mean old woman but she could make some pie. I make that Jack Daniels pie every thanksgiving. Mine are better because the crust isn't rerolled frozen crust like Rock springs. When I make fruit pie I start with fresh fruit never from a can and never frozen. That bakery was hell. It was so hot because there was no air back there. Open a window was their answer to that.
@@tanyamushaney2743 I visited in 2000 and the memory is still with me. It was definitely different back then. I'm sorry for the hell you went through, but I'm glad you got to take some skills with you when you left.
I wouldn't trade my Rock Springs experience. They used to have a "nut fry" rocky my orders and a big dance. We did have a lot of fun and I do make a mean pie. God Bless them. Penny would pour the Carmel for the apple pie in the bottom of an 10 gallon pot and tell me to stir it to the top with a paddle. I had some guns lol. Back then the pies weighed 10 lbs a piece. Carried them 4 to a tray across rock springs a couple hundred thousand times or so. Oh and the bakery was down stairs then. 4 big concrete steps. Penny's goulag...she was a mean ol' B and I don't mean maybe. If there was a way to make it harder she'd find it. Me and the other girls refered to the pies as 10lbs of hate filled goodness. Lmao
After my last trip to Lost Dutchman I had to drop a friend off at Sky Harbour Airport in a 30 foot RV with a trailer behind it!
And yes the upper Hwy 17 is a lovely drive!!!
Have you been to the California Pie capital in Julian CA and Moms pies???
@@timpage8996 I couldn't make it past the Julian Hard Cider Bar.
I’m really enjoying the mellow, meandering vibe of your videos. Very relaxing 🥰
Thank you so much 🤗
I agree. Very relaxing. Love it.
Lovely 👍👍🎶🤗 Blueberry 😊 yay! Everybody, Happy Easter. Be safe.
A.. I do so enjoy taking a fun ride. Thank you🏜️🌵🇺🇸👍🏼🚐😇🙏🏼
It must have been a hard decision as to which pie. Blueberry! Yay, it'll make your teeth dark. We have huckleberries where I live. Like an intense, little , wild blueberry. I'm glad your taking me along for the ride.
YAY!

Thank you very much!
Hey Hey, Russ Happy Easter my freind. Thanks for sharing your Day with us. Too Cool.👍
Live a little! Variety is the spice of life! Choose something different, sometimes!
Thanks Russ, what a beautiful day. 🇺🇸
Yeah that town Jerome is pretty neat another CZcamsr pandemonium was up there a couple months ago that's really an awesome place but I bet you'll do it some justice Arizona is so beautiful I love the way you take its picture you get off the beaten path

I had the best breakfast of my life at that café.
THE VERDE RAILROAD TRIP IS WELL WORTH THE TIME.
I can taste and smell that blueberry pie right now. Yummy!
❤❤ Yay!! ❤❤
Small town America ❤️. Nice drive with lots of Kodak moments. Nice clear drone footage. It would be hard to pick just one pie, lol. 🙂👍
Thanks 👍
Happy Easter and Passover everyone.
I absolutely love Arizona. I go there as often as I can. It’s a pleasure to escape the communist state of CA.
I used to stop in the 4B's a couple times a week going thru there years ago.
Never left there hungry.
Great job Russ showing us these cool places. Don't forget to stop at Camp Verde fort and museum.
Lots of neat stuff to check out
We’ve been going to black canyon city the last 4 years for vacation . Have a cousin and brother living in black canyon.
Did someone say pie? Oh boy, call door dash for me😎😎😎😎👍👍👍
Loved this drive and always enjoy riding Shotgun. Looked up Agua Fría: Cold Water; created by presidential Proclamation Jan 2000; around 1865 was a major StageCoach Stop in Mariposa County. Lots more nifty info about this place. Putting it on my Bucket List. Safe travels, Russ. Thanks
My uncle worked at Edward's Bakery for 30+ years and he used to bring those pies to Thanksgiving and Christmas every year. Pecan pie is my favorite though.
Great tour, Russ. I plan on coming down from Oregon this winter and will keep an eye out for you in Quartzsite, AZ. Russ, have fun, Mike
Thanks for the good effort about Aqua Fria National Monument. I agree that you should not drive your van on bad roads unless absolutely necessary. Wishing you a wonderful Easter!
Thanks for dragging me along with ya Russ.....Really, Thanks.......Happy Easter Everyone.
Can you smell what Rock Springs is cooking...safe travels
Thank you russ your videos never disappoint thanks for taking me along
Your Pie Box is like my Eddie World , I used to live in San Diego and would go to Vegas a lot . I would always pass this odd looking place called Eddie World but didn't stop for years , When I finally did stop , it became my every time I am passing by Stop .
I love a good homemade pie. The crust can make or break a pie 🥧. Crusts are hard to make.
glad to see u r in our neck of the woods...craig...sun city west
Can't wait to see Cottonwood!!!
I lived in PHX from 1965-1973 I visit PHX once a year. Lots of relatives still living there! Thanks for sharing RVerTv.
Texas lady; you weren’t looking; Blueberry 😎👍
Thank you for sharing, haven't gotten notifications, but I found you again on my list 🙂,always enjoy riding with you 🙂☕☕💕
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks Russ! Understand you not wanting to go down to Aqua Fria NM but the road looked better than going to Chaco Canyon NM. Always enjoy your adventures. Stay safe!
🙋♀️Hello Russ! Beautiful blue sky. Beautiful Blueberry Pie! In hopes you have a 🥕HAPPY EASTER!🥕🐇👍

Blueberry 🥧? Happy Easter! Thanks for Sharing!
Nice scenic drive. Beautiful weather.
Yes, thank you
Thanks Russ! 😊
Thanks Russ
Now I need to go get some pie at Rock Springs. Have been down that highway many times and have never seen it. :)
Happy Easter, Russ!! Thanks for the trip
Same to you!
You were passing right by my neighborhood in the beginning of this video.
Russ, can you check if they have Humble Pie? Let me know haha!
Keep rolling these great videos!!
Will do
As always another great video I know it kind of pie it is but we won't tell the others travelsafe rust
A few decades back my dad use to go to the dog track.
Russ? A little translation for you (as I understand it!) I think it may be Spanish (which I did not take in High School.) Aqua = Water; Fria = Cold. So, perhaps, it was for "cool water" oasis. Might be why the Sons of the Pioneers sang that cowboy song, "Cool Water". Glad you chose the cautious side. (Y)
Love that overhead drone view!! wow!!
To cool for school!
Safe travels hoss!
Thanks 👍
Blueberry is my choice!! Looks like yours too??
Now, where’s the ice cream shop?
Sounds like Pie Town N.M., lots of gold prospecting around Black Canyon, city.
Howdy Russ! Safe travels to you sir!
This looked so good! Thanks for taking us along Russ......we've been watching you since you had about 1K subs! So glad to see your growth! We are getting closer to 2K subs ourselves finally.
Awesome! Thank you!
I love blueberry pie but my favorite is it is rubarb cherry I make it myself thanks for the video
Great video! 🍰☕
there should be an ice cream shop right next to the pie place!!!
I think I’d buy two pies .. no self control! Great drive . Sort of wishing for a drone look at the second stop. Thanks!
cant fly at National Monuments
Hi 👋
That was a nice drive . How was that pie looked good. Happy Easter
Russ you should take the time and read the story boards, they told you what the monument is and why it is a national monument. I pause your video and read them. Thanks for taking us along on your journeys the only way I get to see the beauty of our wonderful USA.
Good luck
Have to tell you I was watching this video . Be careful on that highway at night as deer jump out in front of cars frequently. Above black canyon city . My husband died that way back in 2007 . Just trying to save a life. Do not slam on your brakes at high speed in a truck as you will fishtail and roll . Be safe . God bless
Cold Water in Spanish?
There's wine countries in different parts of AZ. You'll be around Cornville...
Hey Russ!!! Get a "WHOLE PIE" not a "SLICE"!!!
Need to warm up a piece of blueberry with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Russ, you are almost to 100,000
LOVE ME SOME BLUEBERRY 🫐 🥧. 😍
Lived in Prescott til 2016. You need to visit Cleator and Crown King, the left turn instead of the right turn off the exit for Agua Fria. Old time town of Cleator with a 'take you back' old store and bar. Then, the winding awesome view drive up to the top of the mountain to Crown King...a must see off I-17!
Thanks for the tips!
Remembering when I travelled from Phoenix to flagstaff there was an accident south bound and the backup was about 12 miles long. Hope you didn’t get a pecan pie, just horrible, IMO, 😝. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
You need to tell what kind of pie you got LOL!! Don't tease!! Now I'm craving a Peanut Butter pie!
I enjoyed this episode of What is the pie Capital of Arizona?.
We stayed at Deadhorse SP.
Nothing compares to the huckleberry pie in Newport Washington
I see you like blueberry pie. If I remember didn't you get some blueberry pie at PieTown, NM? Anyway thanks for the video, great job as always
Next time!
You’re just up the road from me!
Saw the skeleton sitting on the wagon. Let that be a lesson for those that don’t eat enough apple pie.
I was looking on a map and there is a road that is paved to the visitor center.
If you like Apple pie, go to Julian's Old Bakery, at the junction of US 78 and US 79 in Southern California. Their slogan is "World's Best Apple Pie". Delicious with ice cream. Julian sits at a higher elevation, remains cool in summer and has snow in winter. They have huge Apple orchards. They call the place where they are "California' Southern Alps". Blueberry, you have good taste too. Nice video, as always, Russ. Desert + Dessert : nice combination ... lol ! RICHARD
I read the ingredients for a Julian Pie Company pie, and was disappointed to see palm oil as an ingredient. It's always better with butter. Imo
Richard, most of the pies are made in San Diego at a commercial kitchen...they deliver 5,000 pies a week in
October!
The Pies used to be good and reasonable. The price is ridiculously high and the pies are not the same anymore. They are a waste of money.🤣
What is the mpg you’ve experienced? Are you happy with your van?
Russ..... where's all the folks at??
We keep hearing to many folks are RVn this year?
I wonder who's pie is better that pie or pie town 🤔 🤠🌴🇺🇸
