If this was to happen, two things would certainly happen, the Police Departments would become overwhelmed with crime and the quality and quantity of the Police Officers would diminish. This is already happening in many American Cities! Murder rates have risen and crime is endemic! Good luck!

I feel your frustration Marie. I felt that way after the Sandyhook elementery school shooting. Unfortunately we have many unstable souls in our country and it will continue to happen I think because people have fallen away from faith in God and are leaning on their own understanding. When I think about these situations and I tell you I am not done thinking I think God I would never want to hurt another human being and then think I would rather be able to defend myself and others if I was in a situation where someone wanted to hurt me or others around me than just stand by and hope someone else would stop an attacker.. So I have these thoughts and I am costantly going over them in my mind . Not obsessively but as you see these things keep popping off. Interestingly not so much under the previous administration but God knows they keep happening. So I am saddened and wish people could find peace in their hearts. When I was a kid more people went to church and there was a deeper sense of obligation to a greater good it seems to me. I just think its very sad.
