- A tornado was confirmed to have touched down in a neighborhood in Cypress, causing severe, widespread damage. FOX 26's Damali Keith spoke with one man who showed us the destruction in his home and became a bit emotional.

They missed the tornado that hit Brookwoods Estates and also Timbergrove. It's a disaster there! My dad;s house was untouched amazingly! At the 610/290 interchange the winds were clocked at 127mph. My dad lives 1/4 miles from there.

Targeted tornado was selective.
This is bad but a good way to look at it is that it forces people out of there comfort zone and to get out and help each other and give each other mercy on top of it forces people be proactive and do a little clean up.
