1919!!! Nice find in any condition. I love cents. I collect those as well. Working on a full run
I just harvest the copper LOL

Sweet copper penny’s you found out them ⚓️🧲👍
It takes a long time. Not really worth it LOL
We do the same thing it's fun. Great finds as well.
Copper for a penny is a great deal. :-)
Everything depends on WHY you do that particular thing.
One thing i did for fun is run thru quarters and dimes like you did with the pennies.
But the reason why was my motivation.
A decade ago i ran into several people in my area at that time (different state) that were running thru pennies for the copper ones. They would go to several banks a day and had a small operation with 3 employees running the coins thru sorters. By the time i had bumped into them they already were holding tonnage in copper pennies.
So for me to get into that then was not a great reason. Then i spent sometime evaluating other coins. Nickels are very common and the US doesn't make many that are worth collecting. Other coins really are the same.
Then i thought about rarity and learned there are more rare quarters and dimes than nickels and pennies that are of value.
Around that time the US has just switched into the new quarter series and some folks were starting to bulk sell the old pattern quarters. A light bulb went off. So i started bulk collecting quarters and dimes.
Dimes were easy for me to add to the quarter collecting. If you think about it dimes and $10 bills are not very common in usage. Of course many folks run dimes but not as many as there are doing pennies by a long shot. When most people do run dimes they are only looking for the rare. With pennies it's about the copper.
I never held a tonnage level of quarters or dimes but back then i did manage to hold a few hundred dollars of each. It was all about preparing for the rarity of diminished quantities. It's definitely a long term play.
As I've previously admitted tho, a really bad time hit me because i wasn't prepared for it and i ended up selling everything.
Easy come easy go they say. 😂
So it just all depends on the WHY.
If your WHY is valid for you, and you maintain proper balance, (as i painfully learned) then just have fun with it.
Exactly like you're doing. ❤❤❤
It's all about experimenting and making your way through life.
Looks like a blast..
It takes a long time to go through that many pennies! LOL
3.5 lbs. isn't bad. Gabby shoots for 3 lbs. & 10 wheaties per box.
He has a great system. I'm not very efficient.
@@WorldMoneyWins He finds a fair amount of Dimes in the penny rolls too.
I found 31 wheats on my last box
Damn! I've only found about 10 in a box.
Thats a nice box.
