@somfplease Lightning Effect is even worse in Base, but in NGS, it's rare to see. While Attack & Defence Down, Fire, Freeze, and Confusion are the most common in NGS.
Yep the difference is huge in Kvaris. If you got no freeze resist then the ground roundhouse laser of Frostyl just insta freezes you. With a set of 3 and maybe some Addis you just shrug it off.
@@absolstoryoffiction6615 what's the effect when that creepy stalker boss does to you as you run around in leciel where he insta freezes you then he one shots you?
@somfplease It's not an effect, but an attack from the boss if you try to harm his deployable. Waker and Hunter can heavily reduce the damage he deals seconds before he does the attack.
I thought people knew by now. Any augment transfer from eredim is free. I used a Eredim-only crafting campaign to put augs on it and then transfered those bis rolls on a Wingard, no pass needed. For the armors I hope they introduce crafting drops that we can use to upgrade them how we want. Max PP, max HP, damg res, maybe +.05% potency.
Not if you had wingard's w/ BiS, their main concerns was just getting their ex augs on their weapons and they were gonna have to reaugment everything. Also what didn't help was Sega was pretty vague, if at worst, had fuck all of an explanation as to the system works
the idea was that ex augs would always be transferable onto other weapons which tracked but most of us at the time didnt think to test adding regular augments to the eredims to transfer those as we were already past the gear, my mistake in not looking further and ill be more through in the future but as well wide as it was known no one who gave the "ill stay on eredim" argument to me ever mentioned it once in their reasoning which i feel like is a pretty damn good reason lol
might have, might not have seen it tho alot of people here are saying they knew and when i mention it on stream or around getting alot of people who were like "wait what?" soooooo it wasnt just me
So let me get this straight: you can use eredims as your middleman for augments so that you dont have to spend transfer passes to your latest weapon? Also I dont mind stealth wall, a bonus for rangers or anyone rocking dazzle camoflage. Personally i lean more onto stuff like tri-shields and tough minds.
the original idea was that ex augments could be moved no problem which makes sense otherwise there is no way to get exaugments on other gear but the idea that its always free apparently wasnt tested till later and by then i already had it in my mind on how it worked
i would have given it much larger praise at the time i did my video on it if i did tho my vid came from first week and apparently most noticed it week 2
Stealth Wall is BiS for Gunner and Ranger because they get a damage bonus when not having aggro already, and Ranger has a skill for reducing your aggro gained.
technically no, it just synergizes with the idea that they dont want to have threat. you can get that same damage and dont have to rely on a skill or subclass to maintain the damage. in cases of solo content or in parties with a larger skill gap stealth wall becomes a hinderance more then a help so its not BiS its just very good assuming similar skill and only party play
This whole BiS for EX augments is ridicules. BiS is is different for everyone and totally dependant! on what they are trying to achieve. Reevaluate your thought process.
I dislike their recent armor cycles. First armor has no stats, so you would skip. Second set of armor comes later with stats on it, and then soon enough is replaced by the next set. At least with the gigas armors they were best in slot in awhile and it still provided variety because they were more risky with less stats and debuffs compared to other alternatives with better stats. The way it works now however, the first unit to release becomes redundant because it is simply worse. This creates a weird situation where you have to wait until it's an optimal time to upgrade your gear.
they said 10* armor and it's corresponding weapon (not out yet) will be upgradeable later so maybe they're trying to get away from armor having a bunch of variants with the item lab stuff in October
Gigas armor era was much worse. People die to one shots and it is so annoying to interrupt your PA cycles so that you can rez them. -5% damage resist on top of Alt Secreta IV was BiS at that time, was much much worse.
for as rare as 'lotto' weapons are i think they should do something more permanent but then stay rare so it actually feels worth it to attempt getting one, like if you max the potential on Winguard it could give you like +0.5% PB potency, (and if they where still rare,) Flugelguard +2% to party effect buff, Tisah Flexl +0.125% potency if not hit stacks twice, etc as long as you have the weapon(s) in storage / just get added to a character info page. like those 2 weapons from base that zig gives you a charm for or something but a bit less annoying. even if its just a generic buff like +0.5% rdr, +10 base attack, +0.1% potency, (copium is getting to me) +1% augment success, just anything to make them interesting instead of just being effectively random 10~100mill meseta, unless your class doesn't mind non-multiweapon and the weapon you got isn't too much cheaper than the weapon you play and your willing to eat the opportunity cost. though i think i actually wouldn't mind that much if it was either impossible to obtain weapon or impossible* to craft augments and not both. like they are really good about making sure you can clear without them but is just unsatisfying to either be
if you farmed all the way to get passes you would already have 2 and there is a 3rd one coming. it actually works out to being enough to transfer your gear
I think the wording on the new armor is misleading. Saying "HP and PP will increase in FUTURE UPGRADES" is very worrisome. It means they expect you to use transfer passes to swap your augments to the new 'upgrade' (aka better gear) that comes out in the future. Also, the headline saying "enhancements" is confusing because isn't that the same term used for Grind Level? Are they talking about +100 gear? Also, "soon" means (within 6 months) for SEGA. So we might not see those upgrades until December if that's the case.
Not the clearest thing in the world, but the patch notes did say: "Both Transfer All Augments and EX Augment Transfer require N-Meseta, but Augments for certain equipment such as the Eredim series can be transferred without consuming an N-Augment Transfer Pass." - And anyway, this was easy to just test when the system first came out.
So they’re dropping Blank equipment that we can upgrade beyond just enhancement level, fixa, and augments? I need to see how before I consider transferring from my current set.
@@AwakeInTheAM2 Perhaps I'm just not paying attention or what, but aren't we supposed to have to use a augment transfer pass on other weapons other than Eredims to apply ex augments to them? If so, the burden of having to have about 5 or 6 transfer passes (much less the stupid number of vouchers for said passes) is more than I care to deal with, I have 10 classes to arm now, that's not an option for me at this point.

I think the reason the 9* units had freeze resistance was because they dropped at the same time as the latest kvaris update.
correct. freezing sucks.

i wonder if transfering all augments to another weapon class would be better than just changing out the 2nd weapon with multiweapon?

Until Sega releases newer weapons with EX augs, I'll be sticking with Eredim weapons indefinitely, those augments are just that powerful.
