It took me the whole video to realize they were playing in separate games
I feel so sorry for Kirbs putting it in for 15 turns, yet not sorry at all for making this his own fault.

I've seen maybe 20 videos and just realized NRG is energy. I may be a tad slow.

You can make the loss faster!! There’s a option to make the cpu’s take their turn faster. I us it all the time so it goes way faster
In perfect Mario Party spirit, the speedrun relies almost only on sheer luck

It’s not technically speedrunning, but I’d love to see the crew try reverse Mario Party! Basically you win if you get last place. The goal is to do the worst, having the least amount of coins and stars.

There's got to be some strats to this. Maybe make one master CPU to beat the easy cpus? Win mini games to deny time wasting Star animations from cpus?

I don’t know if it was said, but in the options you can set computer speed to fast so their turns go by very quickly
It took me too long to realize they weren't playing together
The odds of rolling 9s and landing on Event spaces when speedrunning must be painful to watch
i was having a bad day this made it so much better

4.5 minutes in, I realized Kirbs was playing 15 turns and the other two were playing 10 turns. I haven’t finished watching yet and I’m so excited to see what happens when he realizes this, especially if he’s the first to finish 10 turns.
Edit: Somewhat satisfied with the result. Would have been more epic if he was like on turn 12 when Kosmic finished.

i have a legit question: why would anyone speedrun mario party games? i keep seeing runs in glad jonas compilations and I wonder why they pick a game with so much randomness in it?

They actually chose a pretty bad map for this. Having the Cheep cheep switching Toadette and Bowser every time someone lands on a Happening space is really bad. I don't know which would be the best though since I think they all have something that eats a bit of extra time.

I was under the impression that the goal was to win as fast as possible, which would be a lot more fun and skill-based in my opinion (good thing my opinions don't matter, wimper). That said, surely there must be a way to just forfeit (don't call me Said).
