Filing back and forth is not CORRECT. Apply downward pressure in the forward position only. RTFM.

It's either the fuel filter or the muffler is clogged up

I'm like you. I would have checked the muffler and then the fuel filter.

@@benrobles752 that is the truth about that matter of the fact that the wrong oil gas mix can cause a lot of carbon to clog the muffler

Thanks for the tip, I tried adjusting the carb on my old echo and it didnt work. I usually use 30:1 but I did burn 3-4 tanks of 50:1 at my dads, Ill check my muffler today !
