I agree, the production on this one song is way cleaner than the grit of the entire album. It reminds me of Can it All be so Simple in terms of it of place production. Glad they put it on.
I think it gives the album a lighter sendoff and refreshes you because you just sat through so much grit and grime in the rest of the album. It also addresses some of the themes of knowlege seeking gza and rza brought up in some of their verses in the album. Its goddamn beautiful and perfect.
Knowledge is FREE. You just gotta be willing to step outside the box u were raised in and go get it. Cuz ya aint gone learn much from ya parents, or teacher if they are in that same exact box you are in. Its a cycle that keeps going, and going. It wont end until u have the heart and soul to step outside of it and seek real, uncut, unbiased, pure, raw TRUTH and KNOWLEDGE. Of course by doing that u wont earn much money in ya life time, or be entitled to a 401k plan or some big shot lawyer, or tv preacher....but hey, if u really about the truth and knowledge, none of that should influence u as to whats really important. WARNING: Even when u think u obtained enough knowledge, u aint did nothin but scratch the surface.
Peace God. Thank you for writing this 6 years ago. I recently read a article that mentioned how the path of knowledge doesnt pay a lot of money. I always felt inadequate because i just couldnt seem to keep up with the Matrix. Everybody seemed to be getting more money than me. The knowledge had me looking at all the pathways to getting money and they all seemed corrupted. Knowledge of self is definetly worth it
Crazy that the jewel on Liquid Swordz was a KP joint. I didnt even hear it til the next spring because it wasnt on the tape. It was only on the CD. Heavy Mental was really in a league of its own.
Man dude is SOOOO underrated (even by die hard Wu Tang fans) that it should be punishable by death. Just kidding, sort of. Seriously though, the man is a monster! Anybody in the mainstream would be punished if they went up against this cat.
From Babylon To Timbuktu is a great read. Talks about black americans and those from the carribean being part of the 12 lost tribes of Israel,or the true Jews of this world. Lost Tribes and Promised Lands by Ronald Saunders talks about the Native's of america and Latinos being part of the 12 tribes as well. WE ARE JACOB'S CHILDREN,believe that. I wasn't originally puerto rican,or boriqua,or a taino or arawak indian, and the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth taught me that.Shalom everyone.

Killah Priest is one of the illest rap names ever. It’s like he’s a High Priest by Day, but he’s also a Wu-Tang Killah assassin at night. But he’s a Master that’s a retired killer assassin. But every now and again he has to suit up and sharpen his sword to go assassinate a high level enemy threat.

Song hit me hard af, not on my first listen tho, it was a day where i was mentally fucked up and hurt. Shit was like therapy. Killa Priest is one of the illest MC's. Despite B.I.B.L.E being a very meaningful and inspirational track to me, my fav Priest verse is on 1112.
I could chop it up with my man all day. I've read a few of Stithin's books, good reads but he's been debunked, respectively, by guys like Graham Hancock, whose work I'm a fan of because he's asking the right questions you need before you arrive at ancient aliens.
Killah Priest hasn't aged one bit!! Listening to BIBLE is like listening to a lecture on religion!! I actually had to go and research some of the things he said!! "Why should you die to go to Heaven?? The earth is already in space!!!" 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

Because the US is mostly white outside of a few cities
