    This video is proof of why the FBA brothers and sisters should not draw such a sharp distinction between us and our African brothers and sisters on the continent. We will always be a predominantly African descended people. What they were doing in that video from Nigeria is damn near identical to what we eventually perfected in the form of break dancing in America. And it’s not surprising given the fact that the vast majority of enslaved Africans to America came from Nigeria.

      @@Alexandria.Washington That copper color you’re referring to comes from over 200 years of mixing dna with the Europeans who raped our women and who had breeding houses all over the American south. And try not to reference the Bible for anything factual. It’s mostly a collection of mythologies and fables. Can’t cite the Bible as being proof for anything really. A book with stories about talking snakes, a man living inside the belly of a whale, or about one man defeating an entire army by himself shouldn’t be taken too seriously. How many African Americans do you know who practice Native American culture, eat Native American foods, or practice Native American religions? Finally, how did African Americans who range from high yellow to pitch black in skin color evolve deep dark melanated skin if we are indigenous to North America? North America is not close enough to the equator for our people to have evolved the deep dark skin color they many of us have. Now there are some African Americans who do have some Native American ancestry (on average less than 2%). That’s because many Africans successfully escaped from slavery and found refuge amongst Native Americans. In many instances they intermixed. But definitely not 98% as you suggested.

    • @2dalight1
      @2dalight1 Před 16 dny

      I am African American and I completely disagree with you. The majority of AA came to America via the Trans Atlantic slave trade. Were there blacks in America before the slave trade as well as prior to the arrival of Europeans? Of course there were black people here,but they migrated to this land from Africa-either directly or through other countries. The fact of the matter is that the majority of us AA here today are the descendants of the approximately 330,000 slaves who were brought here via the African slave trade and you have no documented evidence to prove otherwise.
