I wish these barrels weren't so expensive. I would love to make a few of these
I’ve been able to find used ones at reasonable prices at Farm and Ranch type stores.
This is great Jamie!! So glad to see this channel fire up. Love the project!
Thanks Brian! That means a lot coming from you. I just love building Star Wars stuff. I hope you saw the out takes at the end. He he he.
Great tutorial! My dad let me have one of these barrels from my granddad's old farm recently and I'm going to give it this same treatment.
Would love to see a photo of yours when you get it done.
It looks great.
I hope to meet you someday when I move back to Portland. I'm really digging this channel!
Thanks Mitch! I hope you can make it by sometime in October.
I have a mini barrel like that, I gotta weather it like this 🤩 awesome vid Jamie!
Great job!
Thank you Derek! Your channel has been a huge source of inspiration for me. I watched your Epic Haunts interview. It was nice to see your haunt.
Currently on the interweb searching for barrels!
I have a link in the description. Also, if you have any farm and ranch type stores near you, that is a good place to look. They are food grade barrels, so maybe look for food distributors. Mine was made in Greece, and was probably used for olives or olive oil.
Just rewatched this again !! Great work ! Thanks for the inspiration
Awesome! Thank you!
Great work! Your aesthetic is dead on! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback.
Great video looking forward to the next , best regards from Germany

Thanks Shawn. I always admire your painting and weathering ability.
illuminated square button was exactly what I was needed for a project, thx.
Glad it helped you. Looks very “in universe”
Great job on the weathering love the channel !!
Thanks Dennis! The rotary switch and buzzer I learned about from watching your bunker bomb build. I love learning new tricks from this community.

Wow! Stupendous. New Subscriber here. this is perfect prop for our up-coming Con.
Thanks David. If you make one, tag me so I can see it!
@@TheOuterRim_ You are most welcome. Also maybe make some of those banners of yours. We are with a local 501st Legion garrison. We like making Star Wars props.
I like your video style: straightforward description (easy to follow), quick, and direct. Great results!
Thanks Graham. I’m still learning the best way to present a project. Glad that it makes sense to you.
Great job Jaime! Love this project and the aesthetics are spot on, great job!!
Thanks Matthew!

Thanks! I have done a little video editing before, but I’ve never made a build video. I appreciate the encouragement.
Holy crap dude! This is better produced than 95% of youtube content! It’s awesome! Keep it up and I can’t wait to see what comes next! Awesome first tutorial!

LOL, just saw your outtakes my friend, 🤣🤣🤣
I had to pay homage to you, because you set the standard for Star Wars builder channels.
Absolutely fantastic!! Great work man! Love the intro too!! Can’t wait to see more!
Thanks for the kind words Tony.
Excellent job, Jamie!!
Thanks Aedo. That means a lot coming from you. I included a link to your channel and the decals on Etsy.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing this content. Will E6000 really keeps the wood part attached to the Polyethylen or PVC matereial the barrel is made of?
The E6000 has worked pretty well. It held up for 5 years with the barrel out in the weather all year. A wind storm blew the barrel over this Winter and the greeblie popped off. I will probably glue it with E6000 again.
Did you have to prep the barrels in any way before painting? Like sanding or painting with a primer for plastics?
@@nicdennis I usually sand plastic with 220-400 grit sand paper before painting to help the paint adhere.
