Her's - Cop Theme Extended (Two-MInute-Version)

Just a two minute Her's Cop Theme extended.
Personally I enjoy the roughness of this little piece the boys have bestowed upon us. An honest escape tune that you could listen to while imagining something like an old '49 Mercury Police Cruiser racing downhill a rainy street at midnight, full of deep puddles that reflect the street lights and moonlight glow of tree leaves. A setting the Cop should be associated with in the right time and setting. The idea of the Cop Theme is heavily supported by the cricket-like ambience in the background, evidently providing atmosphere and transports our imagination to a dark, wet place where the boys in blue would remain vigilant on the prowl in the name of "Justice." (At least in my own original opinions of course.) Laading really leads the piece and is absurdly consistent with crunching his bass and bringing out the thunder into the foreground all for the audiences pleasure. The heavy protagonist that comes in the form of a bass (gramercy, teehee) riff is solid, just like Aud' himself and speaks to us of the strength of our Cop subjects. This musical brisket hits the right spot in my stereo stomach whenever I need a touch of blissful bass to ease any struggle. In Blue Lips, Laading's bass shines but can be overshadowed still, perhaps by the songs text and sub-textual ambitions that are reaching out to the audience, leading to possibly be unappreciated. However, here the bass is unleashed in sicko mode fashion and becomes the main character for once in a while. There isn't a single thing that can keep your ears away from this nasty lick. It's damn near impossible considering the absence of any traditional chorus or lyrical machinations of any kind to distract us from the yummy instrumentals. Fitzpatrick's strings compliment the riff even more by adding that extra salt and pepper you signed up for simply by listening to Her's. This is raw talent at full display, mixed in with passion, love and rock and roll. The boys really showed us how to party.
Being such a short track, and finding no extended version I thought it'd be fun to do the deed myself. Was kind of excited to complete this little project so I kind of missed a few marks in blending expanding this rough cut so I'll make an even cleaner 10 minute version because its kind of fun to do so.
Currently in the process of sampling pieces of Her's instrumentals intended to build my own little treats myself.
