Toll Like Receptors: The GateKeepers of Innate Immunity
Innate immunity as the first line of defense
The innate immune system is an ancient host defense mechanism found in almost every multicellular organism from plants to humans. In invertebrates it is the sole mechanism of defense against pathogens but in higher vertebrates constitutes the first line of defense. The role of the innate immune system is not an insignificant one; not only must it discriminate between self and non-self as well as distinguish between pathogenic and non-pathogenic microbes, it also plays an important role in triggering and optimizing the adaptive immune response. This remarkable system allows an immediate non-specific response against microorganisms whereas the adaptive immunity mounts a specific response against the invading pathogen during the late phase of the infection. - Věda a technologie
Absolutely horrifying and inscrutable. I love it, thank you

this is what id imagine what studying immunology high must be like
litojonny that is exactly what I was attempting to do and I felt that my needs were tended to. 10/10
This IS what studying immunology is like... it's horrific.
While listening to techno music
Medicine faculty be like
LOL
So this is what happens when microbiologists take LSD...
I thought the very same thing when I first watched it, even though I really liked it. But, wow, what an imagination! Pretty impressive. I thought it would have been appropriate to have this video set to "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds".
I'm researching relieving sarcoidosis condition naturally and found a great website at Remission Crusher Tactic (google it if you are interested)
hahahahahahahahah
Nina Borodinskaja 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍🏻
Hahaha
This video is absolutely amazing. Immunology completely makes sense after watching it. Congratulations to whoever made it.
I think someone poisoned me with literal LSD. What is happening?
Believe it or not, I'm currently writing an essay on Toll-like receptor signalling for a coursework and this was the most accessible summary I've found so far. Excellent work!
I watched this 6 years ago and I wanted to watch it again then my mom put out a CZcams video and it popped up I'm crying tears of joy!!
This is the greatest ANIMATION i've ever seen in immunology! lots of love
me too

Kudos to the producers for making this TLR series funky fun!
Welllll peeing my pants laughing is definitely not the outcome I was expecting when I youtubed TLR videos today
vivid explanation on the topic. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are single transmembrane cell-surface receptors, which have a key role in the innate immune system. TLRs generally exist as homodimers (heterodimers have been reported) and are found on immune cells; macrophages, B lymphocytes and mast cells.
content like this derived people's on youtube to clear concept such videos make study very easy so there is no excuse for no learning
what can u expect more than this?...
lovely...thousands of heart loving kisses to the one who created
Dr.Butterscotch certainly great effort

Great video! I am a visual learner so it really helped me to put faces with all these things.
cute, entertaining, and interesting! I hope more videos on immunology and other topics in med will come soon! Thanks!
Rather stunning presentation. Pictures are more powerful than words. Keep up the good work. Don't usually care for music accompaniment but this seems to work.
@bundawartini We tried to show as much information as we could. There are still many areas in which this video does not cover. We are releasing a 2-3 part series following up on these areas.
I can only imagine a game designer and a doctor collaborating on this 😂. It’s a wild ride.
It was like a complete review for me!!! Great job...🙌✌🙌
wow this is soo amazing!! thankyou for your efforts in creating this
VERY GOOD ANIMATION. Thankyou! It helped me a lot!
This is a very creative ingenious video. Excellent!!! I love the end with the showing of the cast. LOL
@Mjhond Thanks, I appreciate it! We are working on more videos as we speak.
very thoughtful, thanks, guys for uploading this video!
The cast is very well chosen! Congratulations😂
When you leave no room in your budget for sound lol. Honestly though great video for visualizing TLR system and MHC II antigen presentation. Makes things make more sense as you read.
WAAAAW THANK YOU. YOU JUST SAVED MY FINALS x))))
Superb animation to understand the TLR biology! Thanks
B7 molecules are B7.1 (CD80) and B7.2 (CD86). They both bind CD28 to sustain T cell activation.
This is amazing. Keep up with the good work, I like them all
Truly it made my topic easy to remember !!THANKS😊
Great work!!
Easy to understand and thank you.
Very helpful video. Helped me understand my immuno-biology class a lot better.
This is toooo cute, never seen anything so interesting and creative related to my studies.
Thank you so much for this animation❤
This is kinds how it feels when I study for my immunology final after a few too many edibles, and maybe some acid.

that was so awesome, welldone.
W000WWW omg. thank you so much for creating this creative animation! this will definitely help me so much to pass the exam :)
Very nice. I'm going to use this video in my Immunology class.
Wow this is so cool, and I can understand it immediately
@jennyEvansmd Thanks for the comments, we are working on 2 additional videos that expand on this presentation. The new videos should fill in some of the gaps ins the sequence that is currently shown.
Go on ! You are the best ( greetings from Greece )
interesting animations you got there.
Keep up the good work!
Wish everything could be explained in this way. zthis is Amazing
Excellent. The video says it all....
Hey! You have uploaded a really nice video. But changes should be made in the names of all component cells and proteins. One can not see properly the names in lower resolutions.
So helpful. wasnt sure about PPR an TLR, now i know , ur website is really helpfull. kip up the good work.
incredible video! one of the best ways to learn this stuff :)
This is absolutely amazing
the best way to study! its really a difficult war going inside our bodies.
this is exactly how Kuby's describes the process..you just won a like and subscription, thanks a lot
Thank you for making it easier
@PastelitaVelys Do you mean our TLR book? Or another resource? Thanks!
this video is more helpful more than my prof.
its amazing keep uploading such type of videos
Great video!
It's so easy to understand :)
Really good explanation and animations!
This is awesomeeee....things like this make it so much easier
Awesome video with excellent presentation
Saved it, and sent the link to my kids- Cool, fun and creative animation! If you can, please share the link(s) to your other work(s) in the reply to comment section.
this is awesome and imaginative! well presented 😉
@willamricard Thanks alot! More videos are on the way
thanks for the great video! It helped alot and really adorable.
love the animation! makes it much more fun to watch, especially for someone with a short attention span like me who's trying to study. But you should have someone explaining each process instead of music, that would be much better :D someone with a good cartoon voice.
Woww...this is amazing...thank you so much❤
Great video!! when are 2 and 3 coming out??
hell yeah, a video that is speaking in my terms!! house music, animation, and not dumbed down! =)
Love this video!! Just what I needed to help me study :)
Excellent and superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bravoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
it would have been bestt if there was commentary too .. for explaining the video
exactly
Exactly👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
This video seems to be targeted to one who already knows the whole process but feels jumbled and would like animated description. Last time I watched i didn't get a things but now I can see why i didn't.
So proper description is better to target larger audience
Read in textbook and come back and watch. This is a good video to a clear picture. PS: I read Veterinary Immunology by Ian Tizard 10th Ed before watching this. And it gave a super good clarity. You can choose your own books too.
Please explain the work of the enzyme 5 alpha reductase in changing the male hormone, and where it is produced. Thank you.
Hi ...thank you very much for your videos ..
could you tell me please the name of the program that can make that animation style ... thanks again
imagine being a molecule
@gutrp Thats Great! If I only I had videos like this through school, it would have made immunology a lot easier to digest!
Also check out Imgenex's new apoptosis detection tool called pSIVA
the music was nice tho. i was dancing in my room. lol
This is amazing. Thank you so much
Please upload more videos ..... This is so easier to understand everyone ..... I have never see like this animation 😂🤦😍😍
there are soooo many things other than what appears here that i must learn, may god have mercy on my soul, and on your souls if you are/will be in this situation
Excellent work!
an amazingly interesting video i have ever seen..hats off to the creator, epic imagination...
@Ondelendo Our next video dives in deeper to the mechanism of host defense
Please (and thank you) make one for CLRs, RLRs and NLRs!!!
I like this video. It is funny and easy to understand
When I first read the title I thought it said 'Troll Like Receptors'
@gerbilinatube CD 80 is another name for B7 and yes it links with CD28 as a costimulator for T cell ( in this case, CD4 , helper T cells) activation
El vídeo es interesante para saber de las células y bacterias de como entran y las células se defienden mostrando como y que se usa para la defensa de las bacterias
whats an ikb???? would help alot if you list the full names of all the abbreviations
Lovely inspiration for immunology
what is the function of cd80/cd86? and why the microbe is destroyed once he gets (endocytosis?) inside the cell? what is the mechanism that lead to the production of the antigens linked to mhc II?
This is so cute ! Thanks for doing such a helpful video
Thank you soo much for class
Very good video, so comprehensive!I love it.
Its simply awesome!
Hi IMGENEX, can I download your video for my self? Thank you
I will never forget this
Really an interesting way of learning!!
Bonito video que compartes, estubo muy interesante muy bonito gracias. En invertebrados es el único mecanismo de defensa contra patógenos pero en vertebrados superiores constituye la primera línea de defensa . GRACIAS me ayudó bastante💅🥰
Excellent sir but name of component and cells are not clear.
So accurately and well explained
I thought it's supposed to be CD4 on the T cell, please explain
Thank you so much
wonderful work I love it
