@@Shamanholsters Just pressed your mag mold for the Sig P320. So far I am impressed! Question ? You have pre-marked drill patterns for the belt clip - there are 6 holes - too far apart for a Fomi - what clip did you form for?
Hi, do you have any tips for printing with petg? I love your designs and already purchased one file from you. I'm just having a really hard time with my petg sticking to my nozzle and ripping itself off the bed when the extruder moves by it.
Hi! Thank you for purchasing my mold. I can help you with PETG. I print my own molds. Sleepless nights with my printer, until I found perfect setup. You can write me on my mail anything you need for 3d printing.
I use some cheap PTFE spray and as soon as I press the Kydex, I use air compressor to blow the kydex. =Zero deformations. You can still see layer lines on the printed mold, even after 20 shells.
@@Shamanholsters did you try them in abs? Abs for us is very simple cause we use a bambulab xc1. Most of our molds are from nylon. But as I mention, it is a pain in the a$$ fighting with moisture. So if we can gateway with petg or abs is a win win.
@@JoseAguiloworkshops No, I spend a tons of PETG and time to tune my Ender 3v2 to print PETG perfect and I don’t have much of the choice in my country to buy filaments. Only pain for me is only print time, but I’ll try to reduce print time with 0.8 nozzle, before I buy k1 max.
@@Lsd5688 Hi. One side is approximately 250g of PETG filaments with slicer settings that I use. 20% gyroid infill, 5 lines bottom, 10 and more layers on the top.

How do you avoid mold deformation with petg? Even abs deform with very hot kydex. I have lucky with nylon, but it's a pain to print.

What printer do you guys recommend for making these molds
I use ender 3 v2 with all metal hotend. Any printer that can print PETG would do.
How many rolls of filament did you use to make both molds
I just got a 3d printer and planing to buy some of your files I was just wondering if it take a lot of filament to make one
