- Here's a continuation of my search for ways into the main Union Mine at Cerro Gordo without using the central shaft and hoist. This time I start with the Omega Mine, using a loader, backhoe, and dynamite to bust in. Then it was onto the Bullion.
A couple weeks back, Johnny and explored the Bullion Mine in what was the most terrifying mine exploration I'd ever done. You can watch that here:

Thanks for watching another adventure! What do you want to see next?
This channel is better than 99% of TV shows out there.
Complains about a safety vest then wears womens pants.
Into a deep abandoned mine without gas detectors. Wearing all black in case i black out - you won’t find me. What?
Everyone remember. The video itself isn't scary. The fact is, if they stop upload then we should be scared
I could not imagine not wearing a mask in there it’s soooo dusty it makes me cough just watching the video especially since this is a silver AND lead mine if there’s a bunch of lead dust and you’re breathing that that’s not good
I just picture these guys finding an old skeleton and they're just like "HEY LOOK, JEANS!"
Remember Johnny, one pebble falling onto your head can hurt like hell. Glad you're wearing a helmet, but continue being safe. You don't need to impress anyone. You've already impressed us by just going in there.
Those miners were never recovered. That means they are still wearing their jeans
Brent sharing his adventures in Cerro Gordo is the highlight of my 2020.
claustrophobia left the chat
If the old miners could hear, I'm sure they would get a good laugh knowing that one of the most valuable & exciting things in the mine today is their britches.😆
What's amazing to me is how the miners got all that track and building material down the shafts and onto the levels to build
Man that other guy is a real friend to constantly be down for going into dangerous mines.
I was born in NV, with abandoned mine entrances visible from my back door growing up. This channel has been captivating for me, a real firsthand witness of a piece of western history. I'm extremely glad to see you now taking safety much more seriously. Like, seriously. Y'all scared the crap out of me. :D
I’m so jealous of your life. I live in an old military building in Alaska built in 1904. It has all sorts of old relics and things I’ve found over the years. If you ever need a chef to come out there and to cook for the crew and help explore and fix up old buildings I’d be there in a flash.
This guy is probably the reincarnation of the man who founded the town .
Hey! Great video!
You should bring a LIDAR scanner and map all these mines and the surrounding area. That could help you figure out where the mines are getting close together, and allow your viewers to explore the mines in VR.
It's actually so cool that he has this massive collection of books on Cerro gordo that he can read and then go find what's in that book. Sooooo cool
